Purpose of Role: The Key Account Manager is responsible for sales and aftermarket support the states of Wyoming, Southern Idaho and Western Colorado. This multifaceted leadership role oversees strategic account management, and technical product enablement within the mining industry. This position also requires deep sector knowledge, commercial acumen, and hands-on expertise to drive performance across client relationships, team capabilities, and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety: This job requires travel and visits to mining sites which require focus on safety. Each individual must take the Mining Safety Hazard Training (MSHA) in order to visit and enter the operations. Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist will work with the inside sales team, shipping department, accounting, and plant management. Their main duties will include controlling the flow of transactions, analyzing inventory, and developing protocols for loss mitigation. They will be an integral part of the inside sales team in all aspects of order fulfillment, customer service, and placing purchase orders.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee ductile & accessory inventory.

* Diagnostic and repair experience with heavy equipment (construction, mining, etc.)
* Ability to participate in major repair, rebuild, or replace engines and other major components

* Strong computer skills including Microsoft products as well as industry software
* Ability to read and write the English language

* Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training and meetings to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
* Ability to convey repair details in clear and accurate service notes for assigned work orders

Key Job Responsibilities
* Complete assigned jobs and task to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
* Work safely and follow all KEC/Customer safety policies and procedures.
* Complete related paperwork and access databases require to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
* Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
* Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
* Ability to provide accurate quotes and pricing estimates to the customer.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs.
* Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
* Apply general failure analysis and procedures to determine proper diagnosis.
Qualifications/Requirements
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.
Additional Information
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
* Certified to operate a forklift and/or manlift.
* May be required to complete a DOT physical.
* Required to complete MSHA certification.
* May be required to complete respirator certification.
Tooling
Must have a basic set of mechanics tools that meet minimum requirements as defined on Komatsu Equipment Company technician tool list
