Answers, screens, routes and/or responds to internal (with exposure/requests from multiple directors and above) and external phone calls.
Arranges and coordinates various complex types of meetings including luncheons, conferences, and team building events. These events may include external customers and vendors.
Provides direction to other administrative employees.
Recommends creative ways to improve existing methods that increase administrative efficiencies; identifies ways to translate others ideas into solutions and procedures.
Preferred experience includes 5+ years of experience in the following:

Guardian Scholars provides current and former foster youth with a partial college scholarship, mentoring, and individual support with the goal to increase their chance of academic success, graduation, employment, and ability to become a contributing member of society.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Guardian Scholars Supervisor, support a caseload of approximately 25-35 high need youth requiring daily driving to meet youth where they are in the community.
Implement evaluation and assessment tools to ensure programmatic data and outcomes can be collected and analyzed for outcome management.
Support youth trainings and workshops, as needed.
Ensure Salesforce is up to date with accurate files, notes, and documentation. Salesforce must be updated daily per phone calls, emails, and visits.
Conduct monthly in-person meetings with youth to address challenges, track progress, and provide support, supplemented by additional check-ins via phone, text, or email as needed.
This position requires regular evening and weekend hours to meet participant needs.
Address any youth issues as they arise including career navigation, homelessness, and academic needs.
As part of the team, support youth development program components including but not limited to college and career tours, Women's and Men's Leadership Network, Advocates for Change, care packages, Mentoring Department, internships, Guardian Scholars Resource Fair, and youth training and events.
Assist in grant writing and fundraising activities as it pertains to Guardian Scholars.
Maintain knowledge of current laws, regulations, and resources pertaining to educating foster youth and make referrals.

Provide support to volunteer mentors to ensure their effectiveness with youth and satisfaction with the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications

Ability to work from a client centered, trauma, and dual diagnosis approach
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and on a team
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate case records and program statistics in compliance with funding requirements and objectives.
Use the code of ethics (AMFT, ACSW, LMFT, LCSW) to guide decision making and conduct in the workplace.
Participate in-person outreach to high-risk populations where screenings may be conducted and result in identification and provision of necessary resources, referrals and linkage.
Provide on-call 24/7 immediate response services for urgent law enforcement referrals.
Facilitate educational workshops on human trafficking prevention to identify at-risk girls.
Utilize approved curricula to engaging materials to deliver impactful workshops/groups.
Customize workshop activity content based on the target audience and their specific needs.
Organize and facilitate support workshops for parents of vulnerable populations at risk of human trafficking, such as survivors, youth in foster care, and individuals experiencing homelessness.
Provide information and resources to parents and caregivers on recognizing and preventing human trafficking.
Create a safe and supportive environment for group participants, promoting healing, empowerment, and resilience.
Coordinate efforts and collaborate on prevention initiatives, awareness campaigns, and advocacy efforts in the community and with current partners.
Transport clients and accompany clients when applicable to their case plan.
Retain client caseload and seek consultation for engagement strategies

The Opportunity

Summary
St. Thomas More Catholic Church is committed to fostering the active participation of the liturgical assembly through the ministry of competent pastoral musicians who lead and sustain the singing of the assembly, choirs, and cantors. In addition to the regular schedule of 3 Weekend Masses and 4 Daily morning Masses (Monday-Friday), the Parish Organist/Choir Accompanist will also need to be available for special Masses throughout the year (such as feast days/solemnities, funerals, and weddings), and for regular rehearsals with our choir (~1x a week, September-June). This position requires working weekends and evenings.
Primary Responsibilities
* Support the church's liturgical activity through the well-prepared execution of music presented by the choirs and other musicians.
* Serve as principal keyboardist at weekend and holyday liturgies (Saturday 5:00 PM, Sunday 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, and holydays as assigned), and at 4 of 5 Daily Masses (8:15 AM, Monday-Friday).
* Serve as principal keyboardist for weddings and funerals.
* Serve as accompanist for the Sanctuary Choir in weekly (Thursdays, 7:00-8:45pm, September-June) and special rehearsals, weekend/Holyday liturgies, retreats, and other performances as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in liturgical church worship, playing both organ and piano, with an understanding of and familiarity with the breadth of Catholic worship music
* High degree of proficiency playing organ and piano in a sacred setting, including chord charts and lead sheets, open score choral music, and the requisite skill to accompany groups and individuals
* Ability to take direction and work as a team member
* Ability to communicate well and in a friendly manner with music staff, parish leadership, volunteer musicians, and members of the congregation
* Desire to maintain a constant program of self-improvement
