What is our HERizon Program?
Our HERizon Program is a women-oriented career building program designed for undergraduate Sophomore students. The aim of our program is to help participants build the professional skills, tools and network to succeed as women professionals in consulting, as well as prepare for the rigorous consulting interview process.
Program participants will gain exposure to real-life consulting through dedicated mentorship, informational sessions with the Roland Berger team, and a hands-on case challenge. Over the course of the program, participants will work directly with Roland Berger team members to learn about consulting, develop their consulting toolkit, prepare for interviews, network with fellow program participants, tackle the case challenge and hear insights from experienced professionals.
Our HERizon program will run from March 2026 through June 2026 and is comprised of three main elements:
Training & Development - learn more about consulting and Roland Berger, as well as develop key consulting and interviewing skills through dedicated mentorship, support from experienced consultants, and informational sessions
Hands-On Case Challenge - get hands-on case solving experience through personalized mentorship from the Roland Berger team, while collaborating with fellow program participants to tackle the case and prepare a final presentation
In-Person Celebration Event in April 2026 - culmination of the case challenge to share final presentations with Roland Berger leadership, followed by an in-person celebration with Roland Berger team members and program participants
At the end of our HERizon program, all program participants will be guaranteed a first round-interview in June 2026 to interview for our 2027 summer internship program.
Qualifications
We welcome ambitious undergraduate Sophomore students to apply for our program. Undergraduate students from all academic backgrounds are welcome to apply. The program is specifically intended for students graduating between December 2027 - June 2028.

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily operations for the Department Chair, Director of Social Work, and other CHASE departments as assigned.
* Maintain documentation and data for Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accreditation compliance.
* Support both on-campus and online degree programs for students and faculty.
* Collaborate with university offices including the Dean's Office, Registrar, Human Resources, IT, and Academic Affairs.
* Organize and maintain departmental files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Prepare and proofread reports, meeting minutes, budgets, memos, instructional materials, manuscripts, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
* Deliver high-quality customer service by answering calls, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries.
* Monitor office supplies and materials; process purchase orders and departmental forms.
* Handle bulk mailings and incoming mail in accordance with postal regulations.
* Manage electronic communications and routine correspondence.
* Arrange travel and itineraries; process related paperwork.
* Maintain departmental digital folders (e.g., Microsoft Teams, OneDrive).
* Assist with course and room scheduling, including requisitions.
* Manage instructor contracts and Personnel Action Forms (PAFs).
* Schedule meetings and appointments.
* Provide administrative support to faculty and students. • Assist with work-study student processes.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Proficiency with standard office equipment and procedures.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Banner, and other university platforms.
* Strong grammar, typing, and proofreading skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
Minimum Qualifications
* Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree.
* Experience: Prior experience in a college/university setting as a secretary or office manager.

The Role
The Commercial Escrow Officer is responsible for managing escrow transactions from start to finish, serving as the primary point of contact for all parties involved, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service throughout the closing process.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Serving as the main point of contact for buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders
Managing escrow files from opening through post-closing
Preparing, balancing, and reviewing settlement statements
Receiving, verifying, and disbursing funds in compliance with instructions
Resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate documentation
Coordinating with the title department to resolve title issues (liens, easements, vesting, legal descriptions, judgments, bankruptcies, etc.)
Overseeing document execution and closing logistics
Verifying acknowledgements, legal descriptions, lien information, and payoff accuracy
Assembling recording packages and closing binders
Distributing final closing documentation to all parties
Managing and growing client relationships to encourage repeat business
Providing a consistently high level of customer service
Assisting the legal department as needed
The Ideal Candidate
Skills & Abilities
Deep understanding of real estate law, title insurance, and escrow procedures
Proven experience managing large, complex commercial transactions
Commissioned Ohio Notary Public with Remote Online Notarization (or willingness to obtain)
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Professional, client-focused mindset

What does an Escrow Officer/Transaction Manager do at Northwest?
Acts as the first and primary point of contact with our clients, responsible for ensuring an excellent client experience.
Coordinates communication with realtors, lenders, attorneys, buyers, sellers, members, etc., to prepare for closing.
Ensures that all items on a title insurance commitment are resolved before closing: clears title defects and obtains documentary proof to resolve a defect or obtain signatures on documents needed to insure marketable title.
Prepares the Closing Disclosure and/or Settlement Statement, compliant with the purchase contract, lender closing instructions, and federal/state requirements.
Perform closing and settlement functions per company standards.
Create or maintain business relationships with realtors and lenders for the continued success of our business.
A Transaction Manager manages a “file” (title order), from beginning to end. This role does not include supervisory or management duties overseeing other team members. They are responsible for accurately closing and disbursing files under a deadline while providing excellent, professional service to our clients. Transaction Managers understand all parts of the real estate transaction and are on the front lines of communication with our clients. They're responsible for working with other departments to get the file closed; however, they are ultimately responsible for the overall successful outcome.
