Job Description
Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Intern The Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Intern will provide critical support to ESF's Talent Operations Team. The role encompasses responsibilities across recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, background checks, and compliance for prospective and new employees.

Responsibilities:
• Promote ESF Summer Camps, Pro Team Sports Camps, and BOLD pre-college programs to prospective and returning job candidates through phone, email, and in-person outreach.
• Assist with sourcing and recruiting efforts to expand the candidate pool for roles such as counselors, coaches, aquatics staff, teachers, and medical staff.
• Prepare for and attend career fairs, training sessions, and related events.
• Serve as a resource for prospective candidates, providing information and promoting ESF's team member value proposition.
• Follow up with prospective candidates, helping them complete applications and schedule interviews.
• Participate in sourcing campaigns at schools, colleges/universities, and other organizations.
• Support the onboarding process for new and returning team members.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding tasks, including background checks, I-9 forms, health forms, clearances, and other compliance documentation.
• Conduct research and provide administrative support for the Talent Operations team.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to share best practices and identify areas for improvement.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must be an undergraduate student at a minimum.
• Experience in sourcing or recruiting is preferred. Customer service or sales experience in a high-volume phone/email environment will also be considered.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems or similar databases is a plus.
• Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, are a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

The Recovery Support Intern will play a crucial role in supporting student wellness by promoting recovery resources and facilitating all-recovery meetings on campus. Responsibilities:
All-Recovery Meeting Coordination:
Prepare for and host a weekly all-recovery meeting that is inclusive of all forms of recovery.
Ensure that the meeting space is welcoming and supportive of all attendees; clean up the space after each use.
Marketing and Outreach:

Peer Support:

Training
Complete the Certified Peer Educators (CPE) Training, a 10-hour online certification program offered by NASPA (National Association of Student Personnel Administrators), before or during the first semester of employment. This certification will equip the intern with the skills necessary to effectively lead and support their peers in a recovery context.

POSITION SUMMARY
In service to our student athletes, Penn Charter is looking for reliable, energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our ever-growing athletic(s) programs as a strength and conditioning intern. It is the expectation that all Penn Charter strength and conditioning interns embody the mission and philosophy of the School. Penn Charter strength and conditioning interns always demonstrate a primary focus on sportsmanship, model commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and demonstrate self-awareness in all interactions and relationships. In addition to working closely and compassionately with students, strength and conditioning interns will work collaboratively with other members of the athletic department, faculty, and staff while under primary supervision of the strength and conditioning coaches. Applicants should be working toward a degree, or hold an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or another related field and be working towards an accredited certification (CSCS or SCCC).
The goal of the Penn Charter strength and conditioning department is to provide interns with a well-rounded experience incorporating all aspects of strength and conditioning and William Penn Charter School values into the curriculum. Interns will assist the strength and conditioning coaches in implementing all after school strength and conditioning programs with the current in-season term sports and off season groups. In addition, interns will be taught the fundamentals of program design and yearly planning through the weekly classroom educational meetings. An emphasis will be placed upon the professional development of each intern in an effort to prepare them for a career as a strength and conditioning coach. Familiarity with the principles and practices of the Religious Society of Friends is also highly desirable.
We offer two types of internships. The 16-week internship (Winter/Spring and Fall/Winter terms) is available twice per year. This includes the full internship curriculum and works with all current in-season sports for the respected term. The 8-week internship (Summer term) is available once per year. This includes a condensed version of the internship curriculum compared to the 16-week internship and works primarily with football and open lift times that are available to all student-athletes interested in training over the summer. Dates for the internships are listed above.
Essential functions
Strength & Conditioning Interns will:

Assist the strength and conditioning coaches with implementation of all aspects of the after-school strength and conditioning program
Learn the basics of program design for yearly training layout
Assist in data collection and analysis using TeamBuildr and Polar heart rate monitors

Participate in mid-term and end of term performance evaluations

Role Summary:
The Pipeline System Controller Trainee I role is responsible for monitoring and controlling daily operations of product pipeline facilities. This includes scheduling and coordinating product movement between plants, storage and pipeline facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
Supporting the timely deliveries of product and optimize the scheduling process by coordinating with customers and other Buckeye support personnel.
SCADA Software. Monitoring and controlling system operations via SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) software.
Performing basic accounting functions such as preparing daily throughput reports and weekly volume statements for all business centers.
Leak Detection. Analyzing the leak detection system and react to abnormal situations in a proper manner.
Monitoring and Analyzing Trends. Monitoring quality instruments and trends to react to abnormalities as required.
Concise Documentation. Documenting situations and events throughout the shift using checklists, operating sheets and handoff sheets to include what was done, what may occur and what future actions may be required. Pass this information along to the subsequent shift personnel.

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations is a plus.
Ability to navigate basic computer systems (i.e. Windows).
Basic knowledge of SCADA applications and MS Office applications is a plus.

Must be able to visually monitor several computer screens in a control room environment for twelve (12) hour shifts. Must possess good communication (both written and verbal) skills.
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, process work rapidly, set priorities, work under pressure, and follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision.
The person should be dependable and flexible to accommodate unscheduled changes in work routine. This person must be capable of working 12-hour shifts. Working overtime, weekends, and holidays is required. The person should have good visual acuity, good color perception, good verbal communication skills, and the ability to remain seated for 95% of the 12-hour shift. Opportunities to stand and walk away from the console are limited.
May need to rely on advanced level Controllers for direction and guidance.

The CVSD is a suburban school district in Cumberland County, located about 15 minutes southwest of Harrisburg. CVSD consists of 8 elementary schools, two middle schools, a 9th grade academy, and a high school with a population of over 10,000 diverse learners. About the Internship Experience:
CVSD provides opportunities for a school psychology intern to gain knowledge in a variety of areas, which are aligned with the NASP Practice Model. The School Psychology Intern will have the opportunity to work with administrators, teachers, specialists, and students across the district. In addition to gaining assessment experience, there are opportunities for interns to focus on areas of interest/specialization, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, consultation, and more.
Supervision will be provided to the School Psychology Intern by a Certified School Psychologist. The field supervisor and the intern will arrange a minimum of 2 hours of face-to-face supervision per week. Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to work with other school psychologists in the district and will attend monthly department meetings.
The School Psychology Intern will be able to adjust their schedule to include any on-campus meetings with university supervisors that are a part of the university's school psychology training program. CVSD recognizes that the internship year is a training year for the intern. CVSD will work with the student to ensure the student receives a quality internship experience that will prepare the student to function as an effective school psychologist.
There is a stipend of $25,000 for the 2026-2027 school year, full-time internship if enrolled through the PHEAA - PAHelps Grant. SCOPE OF INTERNSHIP: The successful intern candidate will complete a year-long internship comprised of no fewer than 1,200 accrued hours within the scope of a school calendar year, with a minimum of 600 hours completed in K-12 settings. While receiving direct, on-site supervision from experienced practitioners, the School Psychologist Intern will be provided with the opportunity to gain culturally diverse experience within traditional public-school settings. Additionally, the School Psychologist Intern will provide services and support to students across uniquely specialized Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit educational programs and classrooms, including early intervention, deaf/hard of hearing, alternative placement and transition programming. Training experiences and responsibilities will be aligned to those recommended by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) alongside individual university requirements. The School Psychologist Intern will gain experience in the evaluation of students referred by local education agencies as thought-to-be exceptional students and participate in the reevaluation process as required by state and federal special education laws. The School Psychologist Intern will engage in consultation with Early Intervention, Equitable Participation, public schools, IU16 personnel and programs, parents/guardians/surrogates and agencies. The School Psychologist Intern will participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team and will promote the understanding of developmental expectations of students to increase learning and achievement, appropriate behavior and social functioning. They will also provide consultation and direct services, under the direction of an assigned school psychologist, to at-risk and/or identified students requiring prevention and/or crisis intervention services. Relative to the position, the intern participates in various teams and activities as needed and/or requested.
At the expiration of the contracted internship opportunity, there is no guarantee of an employment offer from the CSIU.
ESSENTIAL INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct school-based multidisciplinary evaluations and related assessments of referred students
* Obtain, review, interpret, and report student data.
* Interview parents and staff as appropriate.
* Observe children in relevant settings.
* Analyze and interpret all data collected.
* Author comprehensive written reports.
* Present evaluation findings and recommendations to parents and staff.
* Participate in team and building-level proactive, preventative, and problem-solving processes (e.g., Multi-Tiered Systems of Support [MTSS]; school-wide positive behavior support [SWPBIS]; etc.) at designated schools.
* Consultation
* Provide direct and indirect consultation to faculty, staff, and students toward the development and maintenance of educational/behavioral programs for children.
* Collaborate and respond with other educators and providers to deal with crisis situations and/or to address specific problems or issues such as bullying, school climate, drug use and abuse, behavior support, etc.
* Participate as a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation (MDE) and Individualized Educational Program (IEP) teams to determine programs for eligible young children, as needed.
* Function as a member of the IEP team to develop and/or revise the IEP, develop and/or revise a Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP), conduct a Manifestation Determination (MD) review, assist with discipline reviews, etc.
* Provide consultative services to district and/or IU16 personnel, families, and agencies.
* Consults with teachers, other school staff, and parents about ways to facilitate learning and adjustment for individual or groups of students.
* Work with the school personnel to accomplish identified program goals and objectives.
* Conduct individual, group or facilitative therapy.
* Attends meetings as needed for students with special needs.
* Comply with Federal, State and Local regulations, guidelines and policies.
* Comply with the National Association of School Psychologists' Principles for Professional Ethics.
* Accurately completes all required paperwork (ACCESS billing, reports, etc.) within the designated timelines.
NON-ESSENTIAL INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other responsibilities as may be assigned by the School Psychologist or the university-assigned Program Coordinator.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* A Master's degree in a related discipline (e.g., educational psychology) and completion of all post-master's, specialist-level graduate coursework (e.g., Ed.S., C.A.G.S.) and related pre-service training in school psychology. Current enrollment in an accredited school psychology graduate-level program, working towards initial Pennsylvania state certification and/or Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credentials. Continual satisfactory completion of university requirements to maintain eligibility for this internship.
* Knowledge of child psychology principles, assessments, methods, behavior modification, MTSS, etc., and current developments.
* Thorough knowledge regarding current and relevant assessment instruments and procedures, including NASP guidelines for best practices.
* Advanced skill in administering, scoring, and interpreting test results.
* Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
* Advanced writing skills, particularly in report writing.
* Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to properly maintain open channels of communication with agencies, school districts, parents, members of higher education institutions, etc.
* Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry, email and experience managing file sharing with Google Drive.
* Adept at using virtual meeting platforms such as Skype, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
* Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
* Maintain confidentiality regarding education programs, students and parents always, adhering to the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requirements to protect CSIU staff and student data.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a responsible and professional manner.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current, approved Act 34 (PA State Police), Act 151 (PA Child Abuse Registry) and Act 114-FBI Fingerprint clearances are required and must be renewed at appropriate, specific intervals pursuant to Act 153 of 2014 (revised Act 15 of 2015).
* Current, approved Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training certificate showing completion of a minimum of three (3) hours of training every five (5) years.
* Proof of independent liability insurance.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
* Attend trainings to keep abreast of current trends, best practices regarding instruction and research to ensure quality special education programs and related services.
* Attend scheduled meetings, participate in local and state training that is pertinent to their internship and participate in Bureau of Special Education Initiatives, Bureau of Early Intervention Services, and CSIU-sponsored activities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Strength and ability to lift, move, or transport testing materials/computer/other equipment up to approximately 50 pounds.
* Perform light physical education activities with students, including bending, light exercise, throwing, and hitting a ball.
* Navigate the hallways (which may be filled with students) quickly in the event of an altercation.
* Sedentary: Able to sit for extended periods of time, occasional walking, standing (as necessary) and able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
* Dexterity: Finger movements (computer keyboard, calculator), eye-hand coordination (office equipment, etc.).
* Audio-Visual Requirements: Within normal range with or without correction.
* Is able to move throughout all buildings, floors and grounds.
* Worksite Environment: Primarily indoors-office setting with occasional exposure to outdoor elements/climate during the day.
* Mental demands: Steady response to unpredictable situations, ability to remain calm and productive during stressful situations.
* Demonstrates independent judgment, discretion and is able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
TIME AND SITE REQUIREMENTS:
* This is a one (1) year-in-length, paid internship, consisting of a minimum requirement of 1,200 hours following a schedule as established by the CSIU and in collaboration with the applicable college/university. This could include some evening work, five days. At the expiration of the contracted internship opportunity, there is no guarantee of additional contracted service or an employment offer from the CSIU.
* Overnight travel to attend and provide seminars and workshops.
* Attendance at work is a requirement of this position; the immediate supervisor must approve any and all absences.
* The ability to provide own means of transportation and/or travel unassisted to various school district buildings, CSIU classroom and program locations and professional meetings during the work day as required.
CSIU PROPERTY AND CONFIDENTIALITY REQUIREMENTS:
* All property, including intellectual property, materials, equipment or actual products and services developed or accrued as part of the intern's duties and responsibilities listed above, is the property of the CSIU. It may not be used for personal profit or gain and will be relinquished to the CSIU upon termination of this contract for services from the CSIU.
* The person employed in this position shall maintain confidentiality with regard to the personal and private information about clients and coworkers, programs and services and any other proprietary information accrued as a result of CSIU employment or as required by state or federal laws and regulations.
