Mr. Meyercord serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Extreme. He joined our Board of Directors as an independent director in October 2009 and has served as Chairman since March 2011. Prior to assuming an operating role at Extreme, Mr. Meyercord was Chief Executive Officer and Director at Critical Alert Systems, LLC, a software-driven, healthcare information technology company, that he co-founded in July of 2010. I work at the intersection of thought leadership, consumer insights, socio-demographic trends, and marketing strategy. My research experience spans qual and quant, custom and syndicated, B2B and B2C. Additional areas of expertise include digital trends, audience measurement, affluence/luxury, generational marketing, and data-driven decision making. I teach at USF, and hold a Ph.D. in social psychology from Harvard University.

Bill joined Hyland in 1997 as Vice President of Marketing. He became Vice President of Sales & Marketing in 2001, Chief Operating Officer in 2005, and CEO in January 2013. Prior to joining Hyland, Bill worked at FedEx Corporation and at AST Research, a personal computer manufacturer. Bill received a master’s degree in Marketing from Northwestern University and undergraduate degrees from Boston College. He was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. While he has lived elsewhere and travels extensively, he is happy and proud to call the Cleveland area home. Bill serves on the boards of John Carroll University, Business Volunteers Unlimited, and Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education.
