A Brief Overview

* Takes ownership of professional development by staying current with professional practice standards; seeking learning opportunities in nursing specialty; and shares new learning(s), with peers formally and informally.
* Completes Nurse-Patient Rounds as assigned.
* Support service excellence strategies.

* Ensure quality care is delivered on all shifts as assigned to Unit Charge role through regular interactions with Unit Charge RNs in each area, and as needed based on activity and needs of department for a given shift.
* Meets all of the essential functions of a staff nurse and may have patient assignment.
* Investigates incidents, patient complaints, and care issues and reports to nursing supervisor with suggestions for change/improvement.
* Reports all AHE and high risk situations to department leader, Assistant CNO, and CNO immediately.

The Telemetry Department at the St. Cloud Hospital is a specialized unit focused on the continuous monitoring of patients' vital signs, particularly those with cardiac conditions. This department uses advanced technology to track heart rhythms and other critical health parameters, providing real-time data to healthcare providers for timely intervention.
To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
To be eligible for the relocation assistance, you must accept a full time or part time benefited position and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. You must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it with 120 days of employment.
