Linen ServicesTechnician responsibilities include sorting, weighing, washing, drying, folding, and organizing facility laundry using commercial‑grade equipment. The technician distributes clean linens throughout the facility to keep all departments properly stocked. Duties also include operating, cleaning, and maintaining laundry machinery and ensuring the linen services work area remains clean, safe, and well‑organized.
The technician performs both routine and terminal cleaning, including operating room terminal cleans and patient room turnovers, while also completing waste removal, restocking supplies, and supporting a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment in all clinical and non‑clinical areas. The candidate should expect to come into contact with infectious, regulated, medical, and hazardous waste. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful. Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 40-50lbs and push/pull up variable weight limits on flat surfaces or up and down ramps. This position will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of their shift. May be exposed to certain levels of noise with the equipment in operation. Depending on location of position, work hours will vary depending on patient/resident needs. This may include overtime, call, backup call, nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful. Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
