Run equipment to company and manufacturers standards

Your Responsibilities:
Ensure tasks assigned by Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor are carried out by the team in an efficient manner.
Communicate with customers as to status of aircraft maintenance
Coordinate with parts department to ensure that all materials are in stock or on order to complete the project on time.
Open work orders and build maintenance books as required.
Provide inspection support as authorized by Chief Inspector.
Perform inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
Maintain and/or repair shop facility, equipment and tooling to support operations.
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Education:
High school diploma or GED
Airframe & Power Plant Certification (A&P) Required
Have at least 5+ years of relevant experience working in a Part 145 environment, Part 135 experience is a plus
Experience resolving complex problems and guiding others
Full set of professional-grade aircraft maintenance tools

Skilled in interpreting AMM, SRM, IPC, and related manuals

Key Responsibilities
Generate, review, and manage customer quotes and estimates for inspections, maintenance, and alterations.

Pre-arrange outside services to support scheduled work established with the customer.
Organize and prepare complete work packages prior to aircraft arrival.

As a Captain with Vista America, you will push the boundaries of service and excellence. We are seeking a PIC that is a great problem solver, brand ambassador and always ready to lend a helping hand. This position will be a combination of part 91/135 flying on a managed aircraft based in VNY and reports to the Flight Operations Manager.

Pilot Requirements:
ATP rated
Typed and experienced in a G-V
3,500 hours fixed-wing time 1500 hours PIC
250 hours PIC time in type (preferred)
2000 hours multi-engine
300 hours logged IFR
1000 Turbine
Part 91/135 experience
150 hours flight time in previous 365 days/30 hours in previous 90 days
Current First Class Medical Certificate
No accidents, incidents or FAA enforcement actions in last 5 years
Meets the requirements of ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 as it pertains to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot
Authorization to travel to/from all cities/countries served by our Vista Family of Companies
Authorization to work in the United States

Duties include Equipment operation of mini skid steer, skid steer, ability to drive company truck with trailer, yard clean up, brush dragging, brush chipping, rigging, creating a tool zone, set-up road signs/cones, maintain a clean work area, observe tree felling operations, site safety, assist climber and operators, saw maintenance. make independent decisions; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships; and read and write English at a level required for successful job performance.

What You'll Do as a Residential Landscape Designer:
Design and develop high-end landscape plans for custom residential properties.
Collaborate with homeowners, architects, and builders to bring their visions to life.
Utilize advanced design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) to create detailed plans and 3D visualizations.
Integrate native and sustainable landscape solutions that complement the Lake Tahoe environment.
Select and specify plants, hardscapes, lighting, water features, and outdoor living elements.
Conduct site evaluations to assess terrain, climate, and project feasibility.
Work closely with project managers and installation teams to ensure seamless execution of designs.
Stay up to date with current trends in luxury landscaping, materials, and sustainable design.
What You Need to Succeed:
✅ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential landscape design.
✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, or other landscape design software.
✅ Strong knowledge of high-end residential landscape elements, including stonework, outdoor structures, irrigation, and native plant species.
✅ Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and blueprints.
✅ Experience collaborating with clients, architects, and construction teams.
✅ Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts.
✅ Passion for creating luxurious and environmentally conscious landscapes.
✅ Familiarity with Lake Tahoe's unique climate, terrain, and TRPA regulations (preferred).
Compensation & Schedule:
💰 Competitive Salary: Based on experience and portfolio.
🗓 Full-Time Position: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
