The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. Rubin Observatory will undertake the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) which will be the largest and most comprehensive astronomy survey of its kind. Rubin Observatory will enable countless discoveries in almost every area of modern astronomical research-discoveries made possible by the team that built the Rubin Observatory system, and by the global science community that Rubin Observatory serves.
General Description of Position:
The SWIFT Postdoctoral Scholar will be stationed at UC Davis, with funding for two years and the potential for a third-year extension. Travel to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, NOIRLab, the University of Washington is required, and travel to Chile is possible. The scholar's primary goal is to maximize the science yield of the Rubin Observatory Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) from transient science programs, with a focus on mitigating the impacts of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. This role involves conducting both software and lab hardware simulations to model satellite trails, flares, and glints, along with data analysis to minimize systematic errors on LSST's transient and Solar System science programs. The scholar will collaborate with LSST scientists and engineers, the LSSTCam team, and LEOsat operators, under the guidance of Prof. Anthony Tyson (UC Davis).
Using tools like Lumos-Sat for Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF) fitting, the scholar will analyze brightness predictions and employ SatChecker to evaluate and mitigate satellite streak effects on key LSST observational programs. Laboratory work with the UC Davis LSST Beam Simulator is required.
Essential Functions:
Scientific Research: Conduct research investigations in collaboration with the scientific team, focusing on LEO satellite impacts on transient science programs.

The Role
We're hiring a Director of Marketing to own and accelerate our multi-channel marketing strategy. You'll work closely with our CEO, COO, and firm leadership to unify brand, content, relationship marketing, and growth initiatives. Most importantly, you'll be responsible for executing and refining an AI-centric marketing strategy-using automation, insights, and modern tooling to increase visibility, deepen referral relationships, and scale impact without sacrificing quality.
This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and an obsession with systems, data, and performance. It is not a fit for someone looking to “learn on the job.” We're looking for a seasoned operator who can lead confidently and execute with excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Referral & Relationship Marketing
Drive new business through referral marketing across estate planning, family law, real estate, and financial professionals
Host quarterly networking events, speaking engagements, and VIP referral lunches
Build and maintain a strategic referral pipeline with targeted 1:1 outreach campaigns
Content & Brand Strategy
Oversee messaging, positioning, and execution across digital, print, and live channels
Manage external writers and vendors to produce high-authority legal content
Supervise social media strategy (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) to highlight wins, testimonials, and thought leadership
Source weekly firm updates from attorneys to create fresh, authentic marketing content
AI-Driven Marketing & Tech Stack
Implement and manage our AI-centric marketing strategy using automation tools and AI writing/analysis platforms
Optimize HubSpot CRM to track, segment, and engage audiences through automated campaigns
Build marketing workflows, nurture sequences, and AI-powered follow-ups that convert
Analyze funnel performance, site traffic, and referral trends to refine strategy in real time
Reputation Management
Develop systems to gather client testimonials in written, video, and review formats
Repurpose feedback and case outcomes into digital assets, case studies, and website features
What We're Looking For
7+ years of marketing experience in professional services or legal environments
Proven experience in building and scaling multi-channel marketing operations
Deep expertise with CRM tools (especially HubSpot), marketing automation, and data analysis
Strategic mindset with a passion for structure, metrics, and marketing tech
Strong writing and communication skills, with an ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholders
Comfortable hosting events and building relationships with senior professionals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
Experience with SEO, content syndication, digital media, and performance marketing
