Performs random daily Quality Assurance checks ensuring compliance with QA reports, Blood Bank/Tissue Bank process, and inspecting for any packaging compromise. Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies for RMA, Credits, paperwork resulting in undeliverable product at other locations and communicate discrepancies with Supply Chain management. Job Summary: Location: Methodist Hospital Address: 8303 Dodge St. - Omaha, NE Work Schedule: Sun - Thurs, 9:00pm to 5:30am Perform a variety of functions to ensure proper supplies are present based on surgical cases. Ensure accuracy of orders based on preference cards. Replenish and rotate items to maintain appropriate inventory. Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions Pull necessary supplies for surgery cases. Assemble supplies based on preference sheet working with staff on any substitutions. Inspect products for damage and date to ensure sterility for procedures. Process return credit for all locations, ensuring all products have been scanned. Replace products in correct location. Deliver supplies to requesting department in a timely manner. Respond to supply requests from active surgery urgently. Maintain adequate levels of supplies for all supported departments (e.g., MOR, OPS, Preop/Pacu & GI Lab,etc.). Inventory identified par locations (19). Restocking from pick list for all par locations. Re-claiming over stock from the par locations as necessary. Utilizing handheld for all par location scanning Rotate stock to ensure products are used before expiration date and to identify any product damage. Use First in First methodology in stock rotation. Verify that product is in the correct location based on bin and label. Remove all outdates from the shelves/inventory. Utilize handheld scanner to track all outdates from the inventory. Clean and maintain equipment and storage areas on a regular basis. Accurately restock items on a daily basis. Stock from appropriate inventory based on shift Interact with staff in a professional manner. Field calls for supplies in a timely manner, prioritizing these requests during active procedures. Confirm and verify item being requested. Provide item to requestor ensuring appropriate entry to surgical suites.
