Texas Licensed Senior Esthetician

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ESTHETICIANS WITH FACIAL & WAX EXPERIENCE (must be able to perform all waxing)


Requirements:
• Adhere to all of the various written mandatory standards of operations, policies, protocols and procedures• Attend all staff meetings & huddles as required • Must be a team player and enthusiastic contributor to servicing our guests• The ability to multi-task• Have reliable transportation
• Natural ability to educate & complete sales with guests

Responsibilities:
• The Esthetician is responsible for providing high quality services by protocol to guests using professional skills • The Esthetician will recommend the appropriate regimen of facial products and services for each guest• Aid in tracking inventory & stocking of supplies
• Clock in at least 20 minutes before their scheduled shift• Prepare facial equipment, sanitize instruments, treatment areas and supplies daily, and complete all tasks necessary for opening and
closing shifts• Maintain an impeccably clean and sterile working environment
• Must attend mandatory scheduled training, meetings & events • Provide the very highest quality in terms of treatment and professional concept

License/Certification:

• Texas Esthetician License with at least 1 year experience or
• Texas Cosmetology License with at least 2 years experience in esthetics

All Spa positions will be responsible for exceptional guest service ability and commitment to providing the guest with an ultimate spa experience. The Aesthetician will pamper and impress the guest with our relaxing skin treatment packages! Must have expert knowledge of anatomy - physiology and pathology of the skin. Aesthetician must have proven experience in skin care, management of skin problems, tanning, facial, waxing, make up lessons & application. The Aesthetician provide invaluable information to the guest on skin products to promote and encourage purchase of skin products.
Responsibilities

* Performs facial, skin and body care services in a safe and professional manner while utilizing various techniques.
* Advises guests about individual skin care needs and other spa and skin services available.
* Explains products and reasons for prescribed treatment to guests.
* Increases spa revenue through the sale of spa related skin care and body products.
* Properly maintains all facial room equipment and supplies.
* Punctual for appointment times and shift.
* Perform all Spa aesthetics in a professional an efficient manner.
* Follow protocols as written, paying attention to details.
* Maintain continual training and updates on treatments.
* Other job-related duties as assigned by management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications

* Must be familiar with Nevada State Laws pertaining to cosmetology.
* One-year guest service experience is a must.
* Must have excellent attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
* Must be manually adept with keen awareness of sanitation requirements.
* Must have a positive customer service attitude.
* State of Nevada Esthetician License Required
* State of Nevada Cosmetology License (Preferred)
* Must be willing to learn and implement Forbes standards
* Must adhere to all grooming standards, no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors

Esthetician Responsibilities:

* Providing waxing, facials, body treatments, and makeup applications and lessons.
* Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule.
* Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely on departure.
* Interviewing clients to obtain information about contraindications,and examining skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments.
* Advising clients on skincare and recommending suitable treatments and home care regimens.
* Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests.
* Maintaining product knowledge to promote and sell spa and salon services, and retail products.
* Adhering to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment.
* Caring for linens and replacing them between sessions.
* Ceasing treatment and informing supervisor in the event of inappropriate guest behavior.

Esthetician Requirements:

* State licensure to practice as an esthetician.
* 3+ years of industry experience.
* Proficient in performing all applicable treatments.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly manner.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift 50 pounds.
* Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
