Responsibilities
Educate customers on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
Completes initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates
Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure Crash Champions' quality standards by performing in-process QC.
Keep every customer fully informed and updated on the status of their vehicle and provide the best possible experience for our customers.
Able to pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process
Pre-close the final repair order, Handle disbursement paperwork, address exceptions in the file and ensure carrier specific requirements are complete
Qualifications

The Role -
As Senior Estimator, you will take ownership of full-cycle estimating from conceptual budgeting through final bid and GMP. You will work closely with preconstruction, operations, and executive leadership to ensure accurate, competitive, and strategic pricing on commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities -
Lead the preparation of detailed conceptual, schematic, and hard-bid estimates for commercial construction projects
Perform quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and subcontractor scope reviews

Prepare and present budgets, value engineering options, and cost alternatives to internal teams and clients

About the Position
The Repair Planners/Estimators at D&S Automotive lead the team that disassembles vehicles, thoroughly inspects them for damage, and properly documents all damage. The Repair Planner/Estimator's conclusions will then be made into an estimate and submitted to the insurance company or the customer for permission.
This is a full-time opportunity that works during the 7:45 am - 5:30 pm time frame, Monday through Friday. 5+ years' experience estimating, Structured Cabling, AV and Security Systems
Strong understanding of construction documentation and math skills required.
BICSI RCDD certification and/or a degree from an accredited college or university is a plus.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC ESTIMATOR
In this estimation position, you are critical to our company's success. You are a strategic thinker who analyzes blueprints to estimate each installation project's needs and costs. Before every job, you interpret plans and CAD drawings to create HVAC load calculations and designs as well as determine necessary materials. You then estimate the material and labor costs for completing the job and share this information with the appropriate parties.
As needed, you communicate with other estimators, managers, and sales reps to create accurate project estimations. You take pride in helping ensure our company is fairly compensated for the exceptional work that we do!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC ESTIMATOR
Must be able to read and interpret architectural blueprints
Superb attention to detail
CAD Experience is a plus!
