We are looking for an Estimator with commercial glazing experience who can manage full estimating responsibilities from takeoff through final proposal. The role supports preconstruction and operations teams by producing accurate scopes, competitive pricing, and clear project handoffs for commercial projects across Southern California.
Key Responsibilities
• Review plans and specifications to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for glass, glazing, storefront, curtain wall, and related systems
• Analyze and interpret project scopes, schedules, addenda, and RFI responses
• Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing, lead times, and material availability
• Prepare estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Develop complete proposals with scope clarifications and inclusions or exclusions
• Support project teams with budgeting, value engineering options, cost comparisons, and constructability input

What We Are Looking For
High School Diploma or GED required

About the Role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, sourcing vendor and subcontractor pricing, and supporting proposal development. You will work closely with Project Managers and Preconstruction Managers to ensure estimates align with project scope, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed construction cost estimates and perform cost analysis
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Organize project documents including labeling, slip sheeting, and plan overlays
Develop invitations to bid (ITBs), instructions to bidders, and trade partner lists
Perform quantity takeoffs and assemble scopes of work into bid packages
Identify constructability issues, missing information, and maintain RFI logs
