In this role, you will prepare and coordinate detailed cost estimates across all project phases while ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgets, and design requirements. We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more major disciplines, including general construction, architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or environmental. Under the guidance of a Level 3 Estimator, responsibilities include preparing cost estimates across all project stages-planning, design, bid, and construction-performing detailed quantity takeoffs, pricing labor, materials, and equipment, applying cost escalations based on project schedules, conducting bid cost analyses, and participating in cost negotiations. Key responsibilities Collaborates with a team of estimators who are qualified to perform capital cost estimating. Aids with the resolution of difficult and complex estimating problems, reconciliation with the contractor, comparison analysis between estimate submission and response to estimate comments. Adheres to all policies related to the handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Prepares material takeoffs on the complex projects, drawings, and plans. Possess excellent communications skills and a working knowledge of typical estimating software are required. Be proficient in estimating software and Microsoft 365.
