    Work Model: In-office with occasional site walk-throughs A well-established commercial electrical contractor is seeking a Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and bidding efforts on complex commercial projects. This role is ideal for an estimator with hands-on electrical estimating experience who is looking to grow within a structured, high-performing preconstruction team. The organization focuses exclusively on commercial and mission-critical electrical construction, with a strong emphasis on healthcare and hospital systems. No residential work. Key Responsibilities: Read, interpret, and analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs and cost estimates Prepare and complete all pre-bid documentation Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and quotes Prepare, submit, and follow up on bids - follow-up is critical to success in this role Respond to RFIs and client questions during the preconstruction phase Identify scope gaps, risks, and pricing concerns within estimates Present bid risks and issues to senior leadership as needed Participate in job site walk-throughs to confirm scope, materials, and site conditions Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams Manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Qualifications: 2-5 years of commercial electrical estimating experience (junior to mid-level) Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and specifications Experience performing electrical takeoffs and bid preparation Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining accuracy Estimating software experience required Accubid/ConEst strongly preferred Bluebeam experience preferred What's Offered: Competitive base salary: $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience Annual profit-sharing program based on company performance Flexible hours aligned with field schedules Long-term growth opportunity within a stable, experienced estimating team
