Experience and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in the miscellaneous metals and/or structural steel industry. 3-5 years of estimating experience in the construction industry, with a solid understanding of commercial construction and estimating processes. Strong expertise in steel pricing, vendor negotiation, and developing budgetary proposals. Familiarity with construction bid processes, including the ability to read and interpret contract drawings and project specifications. Experience with Tekla EPM, Powerfab, Revit Structures, Tekla Structures, and AutoCAD is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, demonstrate leadership, and drive results to completion. In-depth knowledge of AISC, AWS, ASME, and other relevant building codes and standards.
