POSITION PURPOSE

Commercial Construction Estimator Division 8 & Division 10 Location: Bossier City, LA Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a Division 8 & Division 10 Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who already has experience in commercial estimating
or
a motivated, detail-oriented up-and-comer who is eager to learn and grow in the industry. If you enjoy diving into drawings, living in specifications, and solving problems that don't always come with black-and-white answers, you'll feel right at home here. What You'll Do
Review and interpret architectural drawings and project specifications
Prepare accurate estimates for Division 8 (Doors, Frames & Hardware) and Division 10 (Specialties) scopes
Analyze project requirements and identify scope gaps, conflicts, and assumptions
Navigate hardware schedules and become fluent in hardware nomenclature (it
is
tricky-we get it)
Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and internal team members
Ask questions, think critically, and work confidently in the gray areas of construction documents
Spend a good part of the day at your desk-focused, organized, and detail-driven
What We're Looking For
Experience in commercial construction estimating is preferred, especially in Divisions 8 and/or 10
-but we are absolutely open to a driven, coachable candidate who wants to grow
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
Comfort working independently and managing multiple bids at once
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Willingness to learn hardware terminology and systems
Excellent attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to improve
Coachable, receptive to feedback, and eager to be part of a team
