The Estimator's primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer's experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.

Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details
Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service

Compensation Details:

As a member of the preconstruction team, this position is responsible for preparing budgets, estimates, and pre- bid packages for construction projects to be built for clients under the Lump Sum or Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) structure. Responsibilities also include establishing a bidders list, soliciting, and evaluating subcontractor proposals and scopes of work, preparing quantity surveys, pricing the work, and reviewing project plans and specifications for constructability and value engineering in all categories of work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs accurate, thorough, and timely quantity takeoffs for all systems for all levels of project documents (schematic, design development and, construction documents).
Manages multiple projects concurrently with ability to multitask.
Obtains clarification on plans and specifications from architects and engineers when necessary. May assist the project management team in soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and vendor pricing input when required.
Develops unit costs accurately.
Develops and analyzes value management analysis options.

Qualifications:
B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 5-years of preconstruction/estimating experience on commercial construction projects with an emphasis on Concrete and Site Work takeoff. Depending upon the project size, scope, and complexity the years of experience may vary.
Knowledgeable in the following commercial building project components is required: civil/sitework, foundation and structural systems.
Possess good organizational and management skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description
We are seeking full time analysts capable of applying managerial, technical, and business knowledge and judgment to DoD Business Operations for complex weapon systems.
Qualified candidate must be capable of:
Independent execution of tasks related to Cost Estimating & Analysis
Preparing and analyzing cost estimates and models varying in complexity with techniques common to the field.
Performing planning studies (i.e. Analysis of Alternatives, Business Case analysis, etc.) as pertains to cost estimating.
Specialized related knowledge:
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team to resolve issues and present solutions to senior leadership
- Cost Estimating and Modeling
Develop cost models and incorporate cost risk analysis
Prepare estimates for changes in technical and/or funding baselines
Prepare independent government cost estimates for Acquisition Strategy Panels
Participate in CARD recommendations and engage in reviews of cost models and data accuracy and adequacy both internally and with OSD CAPE
- Cost Analysis
Coordinate information with programs and functional areas
Prepare and provide Analyses of Alternatives, Business Case Analyses, and mid-term and far-term architecture planning studies
Conduct data normalization, statistical analysis and empirical analyses using applicable databases
- Cost Data Analysis and Collection
Develop initial cost data collection plans and validation methods for earned value and other contractor cost data reporting requirements
Development and maintenance of cost policy process improvements
Development and maintenance of Government owned cost databases
Prepare and participate in cost scenario reviews
Prepare unit cost data for congressionally required reports
- Affordability Analysis
Assist in the preparation of prioritized requirements lists and their justification
Participate in affordability reviews providing the data's basis and to identify potential trade-offs, provide impact and assess alternatives
Provide the cost estimates to support agency budget submissions and Acquisition baseline documents
- Established knowledge of Excel and MS Office product slate
Qualifications
Client requires candidate to have an:
active US Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
BA/BS in a related field
MA/MS in a related field
Strong background in mathematics
