We are currently hiring an Estimator to help support our booming body shop business and to provide our customers with exceptional experiences.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and in a timely manner to accurately determine customer's needs while ensuring a high degree of customer service.
Inspects, analyzes, and evaluates damaged vehicles to create a comprehensive and accurate estimate of repair.
Accurately produce cost estimates projecting time, labor, and parts repair or replacement
Effectively communicate with insurance companies and suppliers to establish an effective and quality repair plan
Order, track, and monitor parts status on all repair plans
Keeps insurance adjusters, production staff and customers informed regarding the status of the vehicle repair.
Coordinate scheduling of repairs and timely completion of each job, while providing excellent customer service throughout the process
Informs customers about our repair process, including insurance claims processing, payment procedures, repair techniques, repair needs and expected delivery date of repair
Effectively manage multiple vehicle repairs simultaneously
Responsible for keeping all assigned Repair Order (RO) current and accurate throughout the repair process
Perform quality checks and final paperwork on each repair assignment
Contribute, perform, and excel in a team driven environment
Perform other duties as assigned, but not limited to detailing cars, test driving vehicles, cleaning the shop, etc.
Qualifications:
Prior estimating experience at a collision repair facility preferred but not required
Demonstrated computer/software proficiency
Bilingual (Spanish, English) is preferred but not required
Must be dependable!

Participate in post-job review/analysis of actual costs versus estimated costs through job cost system for use on future projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma, graduate preferred.
Construction background is required.
Estimating experience, preferred.
Basic math skills necessary for building accurate estimates.
Basic proficiency in technology and sales.
Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Experience in Stack Estimating software is a plus.

Help drive cost model trends by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing cost information from completed projects.
Assess cost effectiveness of alternate products and value engineering ideas at a program level.
Support training to Development and external Estimating teams on new project estimating tools/templates.
Support preparation of leadership presentations for the client's Preconstruction and Estimating team.
Delivering Life Cycle Costing models.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
Experience in a construction cost management role such as Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Cost Controls etc.
Experience providing conceptual estimating services and/or pre-construction services at a construction management or related firm.
Experience supporting large scale construction projects and programs
Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as value management and value engineering.
Excellent communication skills.
