This role combines technical estimating skills with customer-facing sales expertise to scope projects, overcome objections, and drive jobs into production. You'll play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the company's profitability goals by managing estimate approvals and client relationships with precision and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Customer Relations: Perform on-site property evaluations and clearly communicate scopes of work to property owners and managers. Present the value of RRP's services confidently to convert leads into active jobs. Build strong relationships with B2B contacts (e.g. Insurance Adjusters, HOA boards, property managers). Proactively identify obstacles preventing jobs from signing or entering production and developing alternative solutions to move projects forward. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex or stalled projects and exhaust all reasonable options before closing a file. Estimating & Insurance Coordination: Use Xactimate and Matterport to produce detailed, insurable estimates that align with industry and building standards. Communicate effectively with Customers, insurance companies / adjusters to resolve estimate discrepancies and reach an agreed scope. Write and submit supplements and change orders, coordinating closely with customers and adjusters to secure approvals. Maintain consistent and timely updates across internal systems. Provide clear updates to internal project management and sales coordination teams to ensure smooth handoffs and proper file closure. Attend client, adjuster, and internal team meetings as needed to support project success. Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of experience in restoration estimating (residential and/or commercial). Advanced proficiency with Xactimate; experience with Xcelerate and Matterport preferred. Demonstrated success in sales or client-facing roles within the construction or restoration industry. Experience working in complex commercial and large-loss environments is preferred. Proven ability to negotiate effectively with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate claim approvals, advocating for the best possible outcomes for both the client and the company." This includes inspecting and testing automobiles by using mechanical testing devices, questioning customers about the vehicle's performance or by visual inspection of the vehicle. The Estimator also prepares itemized work orders, listing the cost of parts and labor. You will pair up with a customer service representative who does all the correspondence with the customer - you just write the estimates!     Job Description We are currently seeking an Estimator with Sales experience to join our Award-winning growing team. This is a full-time labor-intensive role with an opportunity to progress within the company. Duties and Responsibilities Receive, manage, and develop masonry restoration bids from various sources, both public and private, both invited and sought out from bid agencies, vendors, and subcontractors. Bidding on a competitive basis and submitting quotes to clients along with developing and maintaining positive relationships with owners, contractors, and engineers. Develop and communicate value engineering strategies to help close jobs. Understand and recognize ideal opportunities via weekly team collaboration in relation to monthly goals. Develop and review material and labor cost, multi-phase estimates based upon bid documents, blueprint analysis, project plans, specification interpretation, and collaboration with supporting team. Identify possible opportunities outside of the contracted scope. Perform take-offs, utilizing material quotes, sub-contractors, and suppliers. Present accurate conceptual estimates/change orders to management in an efficient manner in relation to bid/project due dates. Develop an understanding of our previous work and similar projects to aid with bid qualifications. Review bid documents, contract terms, bonding, and insurance requirements for Estimating Coordinator development. Manage subcontractor, and supplier database. Attend necessary pre-bid, walk thru, and award bid meetings.
