Perform a take-off from the plans and request appropriate quotations from vendors. Lead bid reviews with CE Team and participate in labor and product estimates. Support the CE Team with all tasks related to quoting a project including but not limited to: On public bids, calling contractors listed as bidding to confirm their bid status. Creating bid proposals and submitting proposals to all bidding contractors. Post bid follow-up (day of) to confirm contractor received our bid. Weekly post bid follow-ups on projects already bid to help with determining status of project (intent to award, awarded, or lost). Daily upkeep of the Commercial Estimating Project Tracking sheet.
