What You Will Do-
Estimate Preparation & Analysis: Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed and preliminary cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work; use RS Means and E4Clicks for estimating.
Project Cost Management: Update estimates based on scope changes, assess postproduction costs to inform future bids, and evaluate cost-effectiveness of products and services.
Proposal & Pricing Review: Review and analyze supplier and subcontractor proposals, pricing data, and cost structures.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare cost statements, expenditure reports, bid files, and maintain accurate project documentation.
Site & Risk Assessment: Conduct site visits for tender evaluation, risk assessment, and to identify unlisted activities.
Administrative Support: Handle office tasks such as communication with subcontractors, managing contact lists, updating spreadsheets, and other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table
2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.
Background in estimating commercial construction projects. Experience estimating JOC project strongly preferred.
Proficiency with estimating and project management tools like Office 365, Procore, Bluebeam, and E4Clicks.
High school diploma required; Bachelor's in Construction Management, Finance, or related field preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Quantifies, analyzes, and disseminates, to project estimating team, the detailed project program (i.e. work breakdown structure, room counts, functions, areas, etc) during a project kick-off meeting.
• Prepares, in advance, an agenda for all project team meetings and holds to the agenda during the meetings.
• Directs, with the cooperation of Document Control staff, the distribution of project documents and vital project information to appropriate members of the project team and outside resources
• Reviews, interprets, quantifies, accurately estimates cost, and critically analyzes the work described in the project documents.
• Identifies and mitigates project related risk.
• Coordinates, directs, and follows-up with project estimating team to ensure timely completion of tasks associated with assigned projects.
• Coordinates with Logistics and Mechanical Electrical Managers to accomplish vital project goals.
• Solicits, collects and critically analyzes Subcontractor/Vendor budgets, bids or quotations associated with assigned projects or packages.
• Reviews and verifies Scope of Work and pricing (Subcontractor Analysis Sheets) of other project team members when acting as project lead estimator.
• Uses accepted templates for the preparation of estimates and clarifications, analysis of bids, calculation of alternates, and other tasks.
• Presents the project scope of work, estimated costs, risks and opportunities to management during the final review of assigned estimates.

3. Contract Management
Maintain compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Ensuring that TRDI estimating system is documented and consistent to withstand potential Defense Contract targets by providing accurate and well-structured proposals.
Collaborate with the department management team to support the organization's goals in achieving revenue targets by providing accurate and well-structured proposals.
Manage the contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiations to execution and renewal.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and amendments with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other partners.
Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with PWS/SOW, contract deliverables, terms and conditions and resolve issues that may arise.
Interface with project managers to facilitate a seamless transition from contract award to project initiation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all proposals and contracts, including amendments, task orders, and change orders.
Ensure all proposals and contracts are properly documented, organized, and accessible for future reference.

4. Continuous Improvement & Quality Control
