The Estimator's primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer's experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.

Compensation Details:
Commissions for this position are calculated based on location and revenue metrics, sales and individual performance, subject to the terms of the plan.
Estimated $65,000 - $95,000 / Year

This position is ideal for someone who brings strong technical expertise, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and can deliver accurate and competitive estimates on schedule. The Senior Estimator will also support ongoing client relationships and help advance business development efforts in the Central Florida market.
Primary Responsibilities
Produce comprehensive quantity takeoffs for metal framing, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical ceilings, and related interior scopes.
Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing for both negotiated and hard-bid opportunities.
Review plans, specifications, and project documents to determine scope requirements, special conditions, and potential risks.
Participate in pre-bid evaluations, site walks, RFI preparation, and proposal development.
Recommend value engineering ideas or alternative solutions when beneficial.
Maintain accurate cost history, production rates, and pricing data for use in future bids.
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure estimates reflect current field practices and realistic manpower expectations.
Build and sustain relationships with suppliers, trade partners, general contractors, and clients.
Provide guidance to junior estimators and contribute to team training and development.
Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and client discussions as needed, including travel between Orlando and Tampa.
Required Qualifications
5 to 10 years of estimating experience in commercial metal framing, drywall, or interior construction systems.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
Proficiency with digital takeoff and estimating software (such as On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, or The Edge).
Advanced analytical, mathematical, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work on multiple estimates simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and client interaction.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative preconstruction team.
