Job Summary: The Traveling Belt Technician at Belt Power, LLC., will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and repair of conveyor belts and related products, both in-house and at the customer site. This role requires frequent travel, hands-on mechanical work, and direct customer interaction to ensure installations are completed efficiently and professionally. Duties / Responsibilities: Fabricate, install, and repair conveyor belting and systems. Travel to customer sites for field installations, ranging from a few hours to several weeks. Install and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting. Conduct pre- and post-installation calls with sales reps and customers to align expectations and confirm satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle. Receive, verify, and manage incoming parts and supplies. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards. Detect and report defective equipment, materials, or unsafe conditions. Complete all required service paperwork and update internal systems based on service outcomes. Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and identify future service opportunities. Evaluate customer inventory and current belting products to recommend improvements. Participate in ride-along with sales reps to position service offerings. Maintain tracking systems for appointments, installations, and follow-ups. Share customer feedback with sales and regional managers to improve delivery service. The technologist demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. He/she is able to identify and categorize each patient's age-specific grouping of needs, such as those for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients. The technologist complies with DMS policies, local, state, and federal regulations, and laws related to work duties and responsibilities.
