Position SummaryEthical Culture Fieldston School is looking for Associate Teachers to work at our Fieldston Lower division in the Bronx. Fieldston Lower hires associate teachers to work in PreK-3rd grade classes. Employment as an associate teacher is limited to a three-year program that provides current Master's degree candidates and recent Master's program graduates the opportunity to learn under a seasoned classroom teacher and gain some hands-on experience in the classroom. Throughout an associate teacher's time at ECFS, they will receive mentoring and experiences to prepare them for the work of a head teacher.
We are seeking an Associate Teacher for the 26/27 School year to begin September 1, 2026. The hiring salary for this position is $60,209.

Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities of the Associate Teacher will include:
Being responsible for teaching language arts, math, and social studies under the direction of the head teacher;
Having a collaborative approach with other colleagues, including sharing resources and communicating about curriculum and students;
Preparing for and communicating details about student performance and growth with parents and/or guardians at scheduled conference as needed;
Appropriately addressing student behavioral issues and other challenges that may arise in the classroom in order to maintain a safe environment and a sense of calm in such situations;
Maintaining accurate student record keeping including grades and attendance;
Providing encouragement to students to help support their social and emotional growth;
Ensuring confidentiality of student information as necessary;

About the Position:
The High School Division at Grace Church School seeks part-time math and/or science consultants for the school's Math & Science Center. Most tutoring will take place on campus, with Zoom as an additional option.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll
Coordinate and monitor the entire payroll system of the organization on a daily basis.
Monitor and ensure that all payroll information is accurate and updated at all points in time.
Be the custodian of all payroll-related records and ensure that all compliance-related matters are performed.
Properly and accurately ensure compliance with any requirement of wage garnishments under the law

Position Overview
The Head of Hill Campus Maintenance is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations on the Hill Campus. Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities, this position ensures the upkeep, safety, and efficient functioning of all mechanical systems and building infrastructure. The Head of Hill Campus Maintenance provides daily supervision and guidance to a team of maintenance professionals, coordinates with other operations teams, and supports the overall mission of the School through service excellence and effective stewardship of campus resources.Key Responsibilities
Lead, schedule, and assign daily work orders for the Maintenance Team using the electronic work-order system.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems on the Hill Campus.
Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies, tools, and replacement parts; place orders as needed.
Supervise and coordinate with outside contractors for specialized work, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs as needed.
Operate HVAC equipment and associated building management systems.
Support the Grounds Team with equipment maintenance as necessary.
Collaborate with the custodial and grounds departments to coordinate event setups and logistics.
Ensure adherence to all safety codes, school policies, and applicable NYC regulations.
Promote teamwork, communication, and accountability within the Maintenance Department.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities.

Working knowledge of NYC building codes and safety regulations.

CGPS is seeking an experienced technical director (TD) for our February 2026 production of Alice in Wonderland Jr and May 2026 production of Annie, Kids. The TD will be responsible for basic lighting and sound design (performers will not be mic'd) in the school's black box theater, as well as operating light and sound boards during the performances. The ideal candidate will have professional training and experience designing lights and sound for live theater. Excitement about working with middle schoolers and/or lower school students is essential.
For each production, TD will need to be present on site during rehearsals and performances for the three weeks indicated below. 2-3 Production meetings for each show will be scheduled over Zoom between November and January.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:
Associate Teachers at Riverdale are members of a cohort program designed for individuals who are in the early stages of their careers as educators. Associate Teachers work alongside a Head Teacher and play an important role in the experience of our students and colleagues. Lower School Art at Riverdale has classes of approximately 20 students and this strong teacher-to-student ratio supports faculty in cultivating deep relationships and a sense of belonging for each child. Our Art program focuses on opportunities to develop creativity and expression alongside a set of artistic skills to enhance visual communication.
Associate Teachers are predominantly involved in supporting students through small-group or 1:1 instruction. On occasion, they also have the opportunity to lead full-group lessons as well. As full-time faculty members, Associate Teachers are also members of the Art team that engage in frequent collaboration related to planning, instruction, and assessment directly connected to student learning.
In addition to the intensive and hands-on teaching experience, Associate Teachers also receive ongoing professional development. Our group of coaches are dedicated to their given sport, student-athletes, and team. Coaches are public-facing representatives of the school and interscholastic athletic activities. Coaches should be viewed first as teachers who utilize effective teaching strategies, striving towards having expert knowledge in their discipline. Effective planning, instructional skills, and the ability to set expectations, motivate, and discipline student-athletes are essential components of being a successful coach.
Responsibilties
Plan and deliver daily practices that include sport-specific fundamental technique, strategies, rules, conditioning, and safety
Organize and supervise drills while executing and teaching sport specific techniques
Collaborate with Head Coach
Model good sportsmanship and behavior
Stay current with rule changes and trends in your sport
Seek professional development and collaboration with fellow coaches
$3,500 - $6,400 one-time
Coaching stipends will be determined by using the salary structure template:1. A coach's years of experience will be determined by their cumulative coaching experience2. The structure is based on years of experience, not seasons, and not the number of teamscoached3. If a coach coaches multiple sports and teams in a calendar year, this will count asone year of experience. Years of experience are not sport-specific.4. Coaches must submit their years of experience in the format requested, prior to receivinga contract. Playing experience does not count towards years of experience. Summer camp does not count towards years of experience.5. Sports have been categorized into traditional and non-traditional sports.6. All middle school and junior varsity teams/sports have been categorized astraditional7. Non-traditional varsity teams/sports require coaches to complete theirresponsibilities for their sport, on a consistent basis, outside of the traditionalcoaching hours. 3:45-6:00 framework.8. Coaches of non-traditional teams/sports will receive an additional 15%compensation for that season.
Coaches must set high expectations and expect high levels of effort and commitment, but must understand the physical and emotional stress of competitive sport, in conjunction with the Riverdale Country School academic expectations. At all times, coaches must maintain all applicable safety standards and report any unsafe environments.
This winter season begins on November 3rd and concludes on February 9th. Practices are from 3:45-5:45 p.m. Monday-Friday. Competitions take place after school during the week.

Proctor a variety of tests.
