Job Summary: The Canon for Operations is a proven leader in administrative operations. This Canon leads the integration of the diocesan vision in several areas including governance, operations, finance, and human resources, to resource congregations and implement the vision of the Bishop and Diocesan leadership, building a strong connection with the Bishop, staff, clergy, and lay leaders.
Essential Functions:
Primary staff member responsible for reimagining resource allocation in the Diocese of Ohio. Collaborate with diocesan and congregational leaders, as well as outside consultants and providers to determine how the diocesan structure can be adjusted to more fully support congregations in the areas of finance, buildings, and administrative support.
Lead the effort to create systems and structures within the Diocese of Ohio to guide each congregation to do missional real estate assessments and processes to better utilize the buildings and grounds to meet the needs of the communities they are in. Coordinate with Standing Committee and Chancellor on matters of property litigation/sale/encumbrance.
Responsible for working with Trustees to maintain and determine missional use for properties under the care of the Diocese of Ohio. Manage diocesan real estate issues, including property insurance. Serve on Trinity Commons Executive Council.
Work closely with the diocesan financial team to creatively determine how to honor our donors and utilize our financial resources to achieve the diocesan vision.
Work closely with Treasurer, Chancellor, Diocesan Council, Trustees, Finance Committee, and other diocesan leaders and leadership bodies.
Primary logistical responsibility for major diocesan events: Convention, etc.
Accountability supervisory role for:
Interim Chief Financial Officer
Missioner for Stewardship and Resource Development
Missioner for HR
Our technology vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
5+ years' experience in senior management with operations and finance

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in physical security technology or information technology. Experience in a technical support role is a plus.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is seeking experienced Northeast Ohio performing songwriters to join our team for the summer of 2025 as Artists in Residence . This emerging artist program is presented by the Kulas Foundation and will allow two or three songwriting performers to advance their careers by working with the Hall of Fame professional staff and external partners and by regularly performing live sets on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's popular outdoor Local Artists Stage. Thanks to the Kulas Foundation the Rock Hall is excited to enhance the inclusion and promotion of local musicians and deepen their involvement with the Cleveland community. The program has the power to shape artists, inspire new musical passions, and grow the influence of contemporary music in Northeast Ohio.
Through an application process we will select two or three Artists in Residence who will have the opportunity to advance as songwriters, improve their stage presence, learn about the music industry, and gain valuable hands-on marketing experience. In addition to the invaluable learning experience, the Artists in Residence will receive a paid stipend. This is your chance to perform for audiences of all ages in a positive space, write new songs, try new material, learn the skills necessary to advance in the music industry and improve your knowledge in the history of rock and roll.
As part of the program, Artist in Residence will:
Work with the Rock Hall team to create a road map for their music career development and create a plan to achieve their goals during the program. They will also walk away from the program with tangible items such and photos, merch art, and recorded songs.
Learn from mentors in the field about performing, songwriting, audio production, contracts, performing rights organizations, and booking gigs to advance as artists, and then take actionable steps in these various areas.
Play weekly sets at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame over the course of the summer.
Work with our dynamic and creative Marketing team to develop and elevate the Artist's social media, receive media training, and learn other marketing techniques.
Gain experience marketing themselves and a venue from digital/social to hands on grassroots direct marketing and points between.
Learn performance stage setup and gain hands on audio experience so they can confidently work with sound professionals in venues and studios.
Work with artists to build on specific music skills, such as instrument proficiency or songwriting.
Record tracks and a music video onsite in the Hall of Fame.
Learn to augment solo performance with musicians that sit in and/or electronic enhancements.
Commit to providing 30-40 hours each week to the program either virtually or onsite for a minimum of 10 weeks.
Present on the internship experience, including a live performance of music created during the program.
Collaborate with the other Artist in Residence for an end of summer showcase concert.
Requirements:
Must be an active musician producing original music that is commercially available.
High level proficiency with at least one instrument, multiple instrumentalists will be preferred.
Proven experience performing full solo sets of primarily original music to a live audience in a night club, festival stage, or related venue.
Proven songwriting experience.
Experience moving from demo to finished tracks.
Have graduated High School (or attained GED) and are in the midst of pursuing your musical career, and/or in a related college level academic program.
Prior customer service experience preferred.

Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA) is a private non-profit corporation, organized and designated by the State of Ohio to be the planning, coordinating and administrative agency for federal and state aging programs in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina Counties. It is one of 12 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) in the state organized together with local service provider organizations and the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) to form the state's public aging services network. The network works together to create opportunities for older Ohioans to receive needed home and community services and supports; and to age successfully in their own homes and communities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Student Intern will assist the care manager (CM)/waiver service coordinator (WSC) in job responsibilities per the requirements of the WRAAA and specific program.
Student Intern will meet specific learning objectives developed by college program.
Manage a small caseload as needed.
Conducts phone call and in-person contacts with clients in accordance with program specifications to monitor the delivery of all services in the client's service plan as needed.
Respond to urgent/emergent needs for a case management/waiver service coordinator visit if the assigned CM/WSC is not available.
Authorizes changes in amount, scope, and duration of waiver services.
Evaluate care management/waiver service coordinator data to determine ongoing program eligibility, care needs, and service options.
Monitor and evaluate the individualized care plan, service quality and program eligibility.
Provide education and support to CM/WSC, members, and their caregivers.
Advocate on behalf of consumer and/or caregiver/family and assist individuals in securing appropriate services and care settings in collaboration with providers of service(s).
Supports the AAA mission, vision and strategic plan, goals and management decisions.
Utilize clinical judgment and perform clinical practice based upon education and applicable professional standards and work in conjunction with other team leaders.
Abide by the professional code of ethics established by licensure. As required by Ohio Law report abuse, neglect, or exploitation of older adults as a mandated reporter.
Meet time frames for timely and accurate completion of documentation and maintain member's confidentiality according to agency policy.
All staff have the responsibility and authority to propose ways to improve quality and to fully participate in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
Social Work Designee student or student working towards their BA at an affiliated college/university.

Communication is essential to the success of the internship and WRAAA experience.
