Obtains permission from external customers to clear and apply approved herbicides to maintain the Distribution System, providing quality service reliability. * Develops a working knowledge of Kite, a GIS based tool for tracking reliability and maintenance efforts, to input accurate data effectively. * Investigates and addresses service-related problems and customer complaints. Address all customer complaints and damage claims in a timely and courteous fashion to meet Customer Satisfaction goals. * Readily available for after-hours emergency work, as well as serving as a member of scheduled call out team as necessary, to ensure timely restoration of service. Decision-making involves the use of judgment and there is some emphasis on the development of new/improved procedures and on the translation of policy into operational plans. * Assists with service restoration activities, including circuit patrol, damage assessment, and contractor crew supervision.
