**Job Description**
The Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for providing quality assurance leadership and guidance throughout the DPT network of laboratories. Under the direction of the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, this position, in tandem with RA/QA Management and Senior Operations Management, will assist with ensuring that DPT's laboratories are inspection-ready at all times, compliant with regulations, and adhering to company lab programs. **Routine Department Operations and Quality Assurance Focus:**

Job Description
The PLM Analyst (Polarizing Light Microscope) prepares and analyzes environmental samples according to scientific methodology in compliance with company Quality Assurance programs and SOP's. Sample analyses include but are not limited to air/bulk asbestos samples. The analyst will validate and review data for accuracy and will upload laboratory data into the LIMS that ultimately generates required reports to clients. Schedules sample workload according to due dates and sample hold times. Analysts will be trained according to current methodologies using job specific testing and equipment.
Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Login, prepare, and analyze environmental samples for asbestos.
Accurately enters and reports sample descriptions and analytical data using LIMS.
Performs independent QC analysis for other analysts' work.
Performs analysis of reference materials, proficiency samples. And other quality control samples as needed.
Maintains client service and provides technical support as needed.
Assists the QA manager in development, implementation and collection of QA processes for the different analytical tests.
Performs and completes all analytical testing QA related tasks as needed.
Assists in pursuing, receiving and maintaining necessary laboratory accreditations.
Co-ordinates projects according to their rush status and due time for timely delivery.
Assists co-workers on analytical questions, as necessary.

The Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for providing quality assurance leadership and guidance throughout the DPT network of laboratories. Under the direction of the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, this position, in tandem with RA/QA Management and Senior Operations Management, will assist with ensuring that DPT's laboratories are inspection-ready at all times, compliant with regulations, and adhering to company lab programs. + Initiates follow up calls to confirm correct invoicing
+ Works with collections on A/R follow up
+ Regular review of A/R status
**Client set-up**
+ Work with CSM to communicate lab capabilities to the client
+ Requests new client review
+ Confirms sales assignments with BDMs and notifies assigned AE/BDM
+ Takes new quote requests from clients
+ Reviews client contract requirements / coordinates review with CSM, LD, etc.
+ Reviews purchase orders
+ Submits purchase orders for approval and returns approved orders to client
+ Follows up on client terms and credit limit
**Account Maintenance**
+ Follow up calls and visits with clients
+ Provides technical support as needed
+ Uses company resources to follow up on client requests
+ Familiarity with company capabilities and key contacts
+ Forward opportunities and leads to sales
+ Forecasts upcoming work
+ Asks for the next opportunity
+ Area of responsibility (air, regulations, etc.)
+ Submits client complaints and participates in correction action / follow up as needed
+ Communicates client issues/complaints to sales
+ Follows up on client requests
+ Supports the follow up of quotes/bids for tracking purposes
**Quotes & Proposals**
+ Initiates project QAPP review with operations, QA, and subcontract labs as needed
+ Initiates technical support from operations as needed (special requests, method development, technical review, etc.)
+ Quote generation and approvals
+ Reviews client quote requests for capabilities, certifications, scope
+ Confirms client contracts (if applicable) and pricing
+ Determines lab placement for the work
+ Confirms that lab certification meets project requirements
+ Confirms that lab compound lists and limits meet project requirements
+ Creates quotes for approval
+ Sends quotes to client
+ Forecasts quotes
+ Provides QAPP/SOW information to the client as needed
+ Updates status in LIMS
**Qualifications**
+ BS/BA in Chemistry/Sciences or related field (four years related experience may substitute for a degree
+ 6 months of client-relationship/customer service experience
+ Prefer some bench chemist or field experience
+ Knowledge of Environmental regulations and methodologies
+ Requires additional lab training in methods and QA across multiple departments
+ Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
+ Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

**Additional Information**
Position is full-time, Exempt from overtime pay.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with work hours as needed.
**The compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year** depending on level of experience.
