Example Of What An Evaporator Operator does

  • Adhere to all FDA, USDA, and Company standards.
  • Monitored critical control points to ensure product meets all necessary specifications for safety and quality.
  • Set up and perform CIP's on systems.
  • Used a computer system to monitor flow rates, clean equipment, ensure pasteurization and collect essence.
  • Replace worn or defective equipment parts, usinghand tools.
  • Make critical decisions when problems arrive.
  • Connected pipes between vats and processing equipment.
  • Machine maintenance and operation trouble shooting.
  • Unloaded rail cars as needed.
  • Ensured production and quality assurance targets were met.
  • Write and maintain SOP's.
  • Report to supervisor of all mechanical issues and product issues.
  • Perform pH analysis of completed product.
  • Manage powder bins to send to SAPAC.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Comply with all GMP policies and HACCP procedures.
  • Screen incoming and outgoing product to meet quality standards.
  • Operate the HTST pasteurizer (cream, skim and evaporator).
  • Lead duties and responsibilities to motivate team productivity and to insure all safe practices and GMP improvement.
  • Start up and shut down processing equipment.
