JOB SUMMARY: The Event Operations Seasonal Assistant is primarily responsible for providing a standard of excellent service to all guests and staff by assisting with the administrative support and day-to-day operations of the Event Operations Department - Event Operations, Parking Operations, and Guest Services. In addition, the Event Operations Seasonal Assistant is responsible for assisting with the logistics and execution of Chiefs gameday and special events, while ensuring fans have a positive and safe experience.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensure all fans attending events at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium have the best possible experience under the Chiefs' Mission Statement.
Assist in the planning and execution of corporate, Arrowhead Events and gameday events including event set-up and breakdown.
Attend meetings with clients, vendors and internal departments as appropriate to prepare for events.
Participate in execution of Ford Tailgate District/Tailgate Suites/Champion's Tailgate and exterior operations for all Chiefs home games and Arrowhead Events as outlined in the Production Notes.
Support the Event Operations Managers with overseeing event day staff.
Coordinate and oversee administrative projects to streamline parking and event operations.
Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Chiefs management.
COMPETENCIES:
Consistent, punctual and reliable attendance.
Available to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and requested overtime. Specifically, you must be available for ALL home games including occasional Thursday and Monday night games and all concerts/offseason events as well as the day before gamedays and events.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
Maintain a neat, professional image and demeanor as outlined by the Organization.
Possesses positive attitude and strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.
Experience with Dayforce, Autodesk AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is a plus.
Must have a valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Moderate to difficult; Able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the Stadium, stand for prolonged periods of time during games and set-up days in various weather conditions; able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.

Job Description
* Initiate, manage and execute the production of live events that are consistent with KCUR and Classical KC's mission.

* Assist with and execute event marketing and promotion strategies, KPIs and objectives, and conduct post-event assessments, including RadioActive, community engagement, major donor and fundraising/membership events.
* Recommend, develop, and implement effective event plans for generating revenues whenever possible.
* Train, supervise and manage the Volunteer & EventsCoordinator.
* Support activities for the Generation Listen Leadership Council and the RadioActive committee.
* Work with reporters, editors, talk show hosts and producers to translate KCUR content into compelling live experiences.
* Maintain events calendar, coordinate and support all external events across the organization.
* Recommend and assist with marketing plans for all events.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual, community, and organizational partners through live events.
* Recruit potential volunteers, members, donors and guests through KCUR and Classical KC events.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Event Staff Team Members are stationed at various posts throughout the building during events. The position entails greeting, directing guest through metal detectors or wand, scanning tickets, checking bags, answering guests' questions and informing guests of show and facility rules to ensure the safety of the facility and guests.
Essential Duties:
Greet and direct customers through the metal detectors and/or scan customers with metal detection wands.
Performs searches of bags to eliminate restricted and unauthorized items.
Politely yet confidently inform customers of the event rules.
Verify tickets and credentials for events and facility access. May require scanning tickets, assisting patrons to their seats.
Responsible for allowing only valid ticket credentials into specific areas of the building while not permitting spirts to leave certain spaces and scanning tickets and /or providing wristbands or stamps when needed.
Assist with performing crowd control efficiently and professionally inside and outside the venue.
Resolve problems, address complaints as they arise producing accurate and effective results. Contacting management as necessary.
Ensures lost and found items are turned in to the Guest Services 103 and documented accordingly.
Interact with T-Mobile Center guests, vendors, & employees in a courteous & professional manner including a guest services level of care.
