Duties include responsibilities on both game day and non-game day events, including but not limited to: Pre-Game: - Assisting in pre-game ceremonies as an organizational ambassador. Responsibilities may include:
o Escorting ceremonial first pitches and families to field level pre-game
o Escorting National Anthem singer(s) to field level pre-game
o Assisting in pre-game little league parades around the field
- Finding, asking and confirming contestants in proper demographics for on-field contests and promotions
- Assisting with occasional coupon or giveaway distribution pre, during or post game
Typical Game Duties:
- Assisting in executing on-field contests and promotions
- Tossing promotional items into the crowd during inning breaks including pizza boxes, t-shirts, softie baseballs, etc.
- Becoming one of our Hot Dog Characters and interacting with fans and running the World Famous Hot Dog Race!
o All team members are expected to participate in the race several times throughout the season. (Unless medically exempt)
o Team members will also be required to put on the suits for reasons including, but not limited to:
▪ Walking the concourse, participate in an activation or visit fans
- All game day duties are pre-assigned to ensure all activations go without hitch.
Non-Game day:
- Staffing community events in grass roots marketing efforts at various locations in the Central Ohio Region.
- Occasionally there will be requests to come in to help train new activations, skits and other ideas.
