**Primary Function**

Provide daily site facilitation and organizational support to clients utilizing a corporate conference center. The function of this position will range in scope from multimedia coordination to client services to meeting and event set-up. This position requires a passion for customer service and hospitality.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

+ The vMix Operator is responsible for building, facilitating, and executing pre-recorded and live programs utilizing the vMix platform

+ This person must be solution-oriented and able to troubleshoot technical issues proficiently

+ Build vMix programs based on provided ROS and creative assets

+ Troubleshoot any bandwidth or firewall issues that may occur with the platform

+ Management of both video switching and audio levels simultaneously in vMix

+ Understanding and ability to utilize all features of vMix

+ Creation of signal flow for integration of vMix machines into Primary control room video switcher

+ Identify asset needs defined by the ROS and content trackers

+ Ability to understand and organize provided graphic assets with the vMix platform

+ Maintains professional communication with team members and client contacts

+ Work in tandem with various teams to ensure client obligations are met

+ Perform other duties as assigned

**Skills & Qualifications**

+ Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of systems, tools, work routines and procedures related to meetings and events

+ Outstanding customer service orientation including professional presence and superior client relationship skills

+ Familiarity with audio consoles, power amplifiers, digital signal processors, video matrix switchers, video scalers, PC interfaces and digital video recorders

+ Ability to tune and tweak audio systems

+ Ability to work effectively with senior management, production colleagues in a corporate environment

+ Proficient in audio recording and mixing for live stage events. Studio & field experience with video production also helpful.

+ Familiarity with computer networks (LANs, net connections and IP)

+ Candidate must be willing to undergo background check and drug screen

**Education & Experience**

A Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of basic / small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This position reports to an Operations Manager, Operations Director or Director, Event Technology.
Key Job Responsibilities

Preset / stage equipment for evening /outdoor events

Testing / troubleshooting installed AV in classrooms for functionality and Hybrid meeting AV use

Float classrooms / help attendees with AV needs

Participate in monthly inventory counts / replenish storage rooms / classroom bins

Provide kick off / trouble shooting support for classrooms (installed AV) - Face to face client support

Set / strike flip charts, small portable monitors, etc.

Clean classroom glass walls (white boards)

Plug “smart” tables into floor pockets

Prep training classrooms for the next day

• Achieve Technical Level 3 Certification per Encore Technical Skillset Matrix within 180 days (Technical Skill Set Matrix or @Encore/HR/Global Learning).

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.

• 1 year of audio visual experience or equivalent in educational environment is preferred.

• A valid driver's license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

• Additional DOT requirement may need to be met if applicable.

Work Environment

Hotel

Work is performed in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. Team members will use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
