The Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for the implementation of activity programs that stimulate residents physically, mentally and socially to increase the quality of their lives. Eventide Senior Living Care Center in south Fargo, ND (near Scheels Arena) is seeking for a part time Coffee Shop Assistant to work 10a-2p, Monday - Friday. The Coffee Shop Assistant is responsible for the overall day to day function of the Coffee Shop by preparing and/or directing the preparation of food and drinks to be served to all customers complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards, and following established food productions programs and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides excellent customer service to all customers including residents/tenants, staff, and guests. Serves menu items according to portion control standards. Stocks food and beverage items as assigned. Performs cleaning in the coffee shop to include equipment, work area, and seating areas. Operates all functions of the cash registers including; following proper procedures for opening and closing cash register, handling money and making correct change, utilizing credit card machine, and entering items and amounts into the POS system. Eventide Lake Country Manor Senior Living is currently seeking a PRN (as needed) Universal Worker. Current openings. Minimum requirement of working 1 weekend a month and working 24 hours or more a month as a PRN employee. The Universal Worker provides high-quality and safe personal care assistance to senior living tenants that is consistent with the current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Eventide. Will also perform housekeeping, laundry, planning, and life enrichment activities as needed. Ideal Candidate Must have a current ND CNA license or but able to obtain upon hire Essential Job Duties Universal Worker assists tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assists tenants with ambulation and/or therapeutic exercises. Observes and/or assists with medications that may have been ordinarily self-administered. May give oral and trans-dermal medications, patches, eye drops, topical ointments, and suppositories under the direction of the nurse. Reads and records temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight. Provides adequate nutrition and fluid intake through meal preparation. Performs blood sugar testing and documents results. Provides tenants with emotional and cognitive support. Universal Workers socialize with tenants. Listens, converses, and participates in appropriate activities - reading mail, writing letters, etc. Gives guidance, redirection, and re-orientation to tenants as needed. Develops a rapport with tenants and families to develop an understanding of the needs and interests. Documents in tenant records as instructed and in a timely manner. Participates in the development, implementation and review of tenant's plan of care. Recognizes and reports significant changes in the tenant's health, behavior and/or general appearance to the nurse. Complies with infection control policies and procedures. Recognizes emergencies and carries out emergency procedures according to policy. Promptly reports any occurrences of physical or mental abuse or potential for vulnerable adult reports to supervisor. Review communication notes at the start of each shift to stay informed of changes that may have occurred. Cleans apartments, service areas, and common areas. Sorts, washes, dries, and folds personal clothing and linens. Re-stocks supplies as needed. Assists with serving meals in dining room.
