Develop and maintain an understanding of Arcadis' services, client businesses, and the transportation industry to increase personal and company credibility in the sector. Undertake training and guidance to increase knowledge in areas of technical proficiency. Key Skills: Strong understanding of traffic operations principles and regulatory frameworks, including US DOT, ITE, MUTCD, AASHTO, and New England state DOT requirements, policies, and standards. Direct experience with ITS and TSMO project delivery, including operational practices, technical documentation, and client engagement. Understanding of the use of traffic analysis and modeling tools including VISSIM, Synchro/SimTraffic, and HCS. Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with subject matter experts (e.g., roadway design, environmental, survey) to deliver integrated transportation solutions. Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil or Electrical Engineering or a related field. Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification and actively working towards Professional Engineer (PE) Certification. 4 or more years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in transportation or traffic engineering. Experience in operational and/or safety analysis. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. U.S. Driver's License required.
