Role and Scope of Position: This position is responsible for ensuring Eversource customers enjoy a top tier customer experience. The Customer Resolution Specialist is responsible for the delivery of consistently extraordinary resolution and support for high touch customer care situations presented by Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) in our CT and NH Residential and Business contact centers. When customers have questions or suggestions about our company beyond our Customer Service Representatives' expertise, the team turns to Resolution Specialists for support. Resolution Specialists provide specific information and apply de-escalating tactics to care for our customers' account, program, service, process and procedural questions and concerns. Qualified candidates for this position must have an appetite for excellence and the ability to build relationships over the phone using outstanding communication and problem-solving skills. These individuals comply with Company and regulatory policies and procedures, while going above and beyond for our customers in a 24/7 Contact Center setting. Additionally, a qualified candidate must be quality-focused, and an effective team player motivated to diagnose and resolve elevated customer situations, serving as an effective endpoint for resolution. Essential Functions: Delivers high quality service to Eversource customers, ensuring that every customer is delighted during every interaction while positively contributing to an environment that fosters teamwork and accountability. Delivers consistent extraordinary resolution and support for high touch customer care situations presented by Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) in our CT and NH Residential and Business contact centers. Performs outbound calling as required. Conducts frequent follow up throughout the issue resolution process. Analyzes causes of complaints and resolves customer dissatisfaction. Provides direction and guidance to lead customers to self-service tools and other reference information available. Initiates service on new accounts, reconnections and disconnections, and transfer of billing responsibility. Explains billing methods, rate schedules, amounts of bills, status of accounts and other related procedures. Explains restructuring billing and customer options. Analyzes and investigates discrepancies in customer accounts. Explains customer payment options. Reviews customer records, billing and error reports and returned bills; investigates errors and invalid meter reading and billing conditions and makes correcting entries as required. Works collaboratively with Leadership to analyze escalation trends, contribute input towards root cause analysis to improve customer First Contact Resolution and Satisfaction. Achieves and exceeds all individual and department key performance targets Complies with regulations, Company policies and constantly looks for ways to improve business practices and policies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Individual will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the heavy fleet including hybrid electric applications, aerial units and associated equipment. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This position requires mechanical aptitude, ability to perform physical requirements of the position, manual and finger dexterity and the ability to communicate effectively, including being able to follow detailed written instructions. Role and Scope of Position: This position plans, coordinates, reviews switching and tagging; writing, checking, and issuing clearances; monitoring of loads, emergency restoration and associated reporting for the electric distribution system within an assigned region. Coordinates the above activities with ESCC and other regions when system conditions cross jurisdictional lines. Essential Functions: * Analyzes trouble calls (events) and initiates corrective action with the appropriate Area Work Center function including call-out of personnel in accordance with established procedures; * Handles corrective action as required by timing or circumstances, and informs appropriate System Personnel of problems on the assigned region's electric distribution system and associated restoration progress; * Monitors load and voltages on circuits and substation equipment during switching and peak periods to assure loading parameters are not exceeded; * Assists with implementing the assigned region's emergency response plan as required, and assists at Area Work Center satellites and other regional operation centers during emergency storm restoration as assigned; * Maintains the electric model in the outage management system to reflect real-time system status; * Individual must be able to quickly recognize emergency situations and take prompt, appropriate actions with limited or no supervision. Individual will also be required to efficiently coordinate emergency actions with other vested parties such as Federal, State, and Municipal partners along with other utilities. Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications: Technical Knowledge/Skill: * Requires a working knowledge of all transmission and distribution network equipment and vehicles, work practices and procedures, construction and material standards, as well as safety, regulatory and design codes. * Requires a demonstrated knowledge in training and development concepts, theories, practices and principals using a Systematic Approach to Training. Education: * Associates degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience. Combined education and experience can be used as a substitute. Experience: * Zero (0) to five (5) years of related electrical utility experience is required. * Individual must be able to function under stressful emergency situations for extended periods of time; * Thorough knowledge of the switching and tagging procedures; a thorough knowledge of Electric Distribution System operations; * Thorough knowledge of applicable PC-based and mainframe applications; * Ability to communicate and work effectively with various levels of the organization and others involved with Electric Operations; * Ability to analyze electric distribution system problems and act accordingly Licenses & Certifications: * Must successfully pass all required pre-employment assessments.
