Eversource is looking for a Construction Representative, Transmission to be located in Western Massachusetts. This role is responsible for all aspects of the construction field management and construction inspection process of projects for transmission lines and substations in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Will directly supervise Transmission Construction Representatives. Will work with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Contract Administration, other Transmission Group managers, CONVEX, Legal, Purchasing, and field staff to ensure the safe and timely completion of work meeting Eversource's quality standards. Will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental programs, policies, rules, and regulations; will direct safety awareness and compliance initiatives within the department; and be responsible for monitoring the safety and environmental performance of contractors.
Role and Scope of Position:
Responsible for oversight of construction contractor activities in accordance to project plans and specifications for projects at Eversource. Observes and inspects construction contractors in the field to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, state/local siting conditions, contract documents, environmental regulations, and safety regulations. Assigned transmission line and/or substation construction projects. Works closely with personnel in Transmission Project Management, Environmental Permitting, Siting, local control centers, and Outreach Services.
Essential Functions:
• Individual is assigned projects requiring close stakeholder interaction such as substation expansion projects, transmission line re-build projects, or other system enhancement projects.
• Ensures compliance with environmental programs, policies, rules and regulations.
• Ensures contractor compliance with Eversource standards and procedures.
• Drive accountable for the safe completion of all work efforts. Sets safety expectations among and between his/her peers. Resolves safety issues/concerns in an appropriate and timely manner. Communicates safety lessons learned and promotes continuous learning of safe work methods, practices, and procedures.
• Performs Safety observations to ensure contractor compliance with Eversource safety standards.
• (On site - oversight) Manages contract field construction and maintenance activities at transmission and distribution facilities in accordance with approved project documents, established engineering practices, Federal, State and local laws, and construction industry standards to achieve world-class field construction performance.
• Providing daily reports to Construction management on project progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, design questions, potential project impacts
• Attends participates and may lead scheduled project meetings.
• Reviews project material requirements to identify items that have not been ordered to support the construction project. Coordinate delivery of materials to construction site.
• Requests and holds NRA's.
• Reviews, requests, and approves written switching instructions and holds clearances.
• Provides substation escort for non-qualified individuals.
• Validation of contractor timesheets, invoices, and change orders/change management.
• Act as a mentor/ trainer to other members of the department.
• Attend meetings and project updates with customers, as appropriate.
• Responsible for project reconciliations and close out activities following completion of projects.
• May be required to work extended hours during certain phases of construction projects.
• Interfaces with the stakeholder and outreach coordination team so that all non-regulatory commitments are being adhered to by the construction contractors.
• Support Storm/ERP support as required.
• Conducts onsite construction briefings and prepares reports reflecting project status, schedule, and project uncertainties.
• Ensures Project Manager and project team are notified of any deviations in construction safety compliance, environmental compliance, schedule, design, materials, budget, and commissioning plans.
• Reviews project design and construction documents to ensure constructability and schedule adherence.
• Participates in project planning, site walk downs, constructability review, and project meetings.
• Performs Constructability reviews and creates outage sequencing plan.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
• Must obtain and maintain switching and tagging certification.
• Must obtain and maintain substation escorting privileges for Type 3 Electrical work.
• OSHA Training
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and codes along with construction standards and regulations
• Working knowledge of construction methods and procedures
• Knowledge of energy delivery power systems
• The ability to learn and utilize available information technologies
Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent,
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related construction experience required
• Experience in Transmission Systems preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
• Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License is required
Working Conditions:
• Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
• Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
• General/Electrical/Transmission ROW (Right of Way) construction conditions. Construction activities are performed year-round, work schedule dependent upon specific project
• Must be able to enter ROW and other job sites that are in remote areas with uneven terrain.
• Must be able to work within an energized substation environment

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $104,380 to $109,180, plus incentive. Salary progresses in accordance with the union contract. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.

Job Description
The Field Services Representative General (Customer Service) is responsible for the delivery of world class service to our customers by performing field service activities associated with service delivery and the maintenance of customer accounts.

* Accurately and efficiently completes meter reading activities as assigned.

Job Summary
A position is available in the Customer Service Department. The position requires an individual with excellent customer relations, organizational, verbal and written communications skills, and above average problem solving skills. A minimum of five (5) years experience in a call center environment is required and prior use of SAP is highly desired. Bi-lingual a plus. Applicants must be genuinely excited to help customers and have a proven track record of excellence.
Principal Responsibilities
Applicants must be able to perform the following primary duties in a manner consistent with the Company's mission to be the service provider, employer and investment of choice through a relentless commitment to excellence:
Receive and respond (via phone, email and chat) to all types of customer inquires with regard to such matters as billing (i.e., high bills, zero usage, credits, refunds, transfers, adjustments), water quality and service (i.e., discolored water, pressure issues, service interruptions, outages), meter and remote malfunctions, collections (installment plans, arrangements, ebilling), property transfers and final bills, leak adjustments and other service-related issues. Ability to navigate and properly account for all customer contacts in the SAP system.
Resolve customer inquiries or complaints to ensure first-call problem resolution and customer satisfaction; arrange for field service or meter reading departments to perform work as necessary; ability to problem-solve and thoroughly research in order to successfully resolve issues.
Verify and process changes of addresses, property transfers, foreclosures and bankruptcies.
Ability to handle as least 50-100 calls per day in a reactive environment.
Compose letters and emails using Outlook, Word and chat.
Excellent computer skills and previous experience working in a customer relationship management system/database.
Strong math skills required to resolve billing-related matters.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
Occasional overtime and attendance at after-hours department staff meetings is required.
Various other duties as required.
Preferred Requirements
Experience in a high volume call center preferred, but not required.
Education/Certifications
A high school diploma is required.
An associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
Salary
This role is a full-time, benefit-eligible role.
This role is classified as a non-exempt hourly role, with a starting hourly rate of $24.25/hour.
The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM. Training hours may vary slightly.
After three months of successful employment & full training, this role will be eligible for a hybrid schedule (3 days office/ 2 days remote).

Can effectively manage assigned customer base, take calls from most customers without assistance, hand in daily work order report once reviewed, utilize problem solving skills to assess issues and ask for assistance when needed from team members, bulling specialist or account representatives.
Level 2:
Has 2-3 years of progressively complex experience in the customer service and client relationship management field. Demonstrates knowledge and competence in several technical areas of customer service and client relationship management and can build strong relationships with home office and divisional employees at various levels within the organization. Cross-trained to handle all accounts from a customer service prospective, accuracy and notes with minimal billing issues, work order report reviewed by supervisor, ability to handle problems and/or direct to management with idea for resolution, handle all calls from any customer, reliable and able to work extra time as needed, manages customer base instead of being reactive (holiday prescheduling, managing overweight hauls).
Senior:
4+ years of progressively complex experience in the customer service and client relationship management field. Demonstrates highly integrated knowledge and competence in several technical areas of customer service and client relationship management and can build strong relationships with home office and divisional employees at various levels within the organization. Education, Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a high school education, a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment and be legally eligible to work in the US. A bachelor's degree, relevant sales certifications, 1-2 years of sales experience and background knowledge or interest in an environmental and/or sustainability field are preferred.
Outstanding relationship management skills, excellent listening, communication and problem-solving skills and an ability to identify and develop sales opportunities are required.
