Founder of a new luxury watch accessory brand seeks part-time Executive Assistant to support operational ramp-up. The brand is in early launch phase with design and manufacturing plans already defined. The focus now is execution, sourcing, and preparing for market entry in late 2026. Current need is for 10-15hrs/week assistance with a mostly remote flexible schedule. There is the possibility of an increased commitment including a full-time position if the fit is right.
Requirements
• 3+ years' experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Coordinator, or similar role
in consumer goods, manufacturing, or e-commerce • Experience with product sourcing, vendor management, supply chain basics • Strong research skills, including ability to vet U.S.-based manufacturers and compare capabilities/quotes • Excellent communication skills (clear emails, call summaries, vendor follow-ups) • Strong tech skills across remote tools (Google Workspace, Sheets, Excel, Zoom, Slack, Trello/Asana) • Highly organized, proactive, able to work independently • Experience with luxury goods or hardware products a plus
Responsibilities
• Research, identify and vet U.S.-based manufacturers for precision components and final assembly • Develop shortlists with quotes, capability assessments, compliance notes, and recommendations • Assist with foundational business setup, including vendor negotiations, timeline creation, and milestone planning • Coordinate with existing designers and overseas/US manufacturing partners • Manage administrative workflows: calendar, document organization, communication tracking • Set up operational systems and processes in Google Workspace and with project management tools • Support transition into scaling tasks (ecommerce research, inventory planning, packaging vendors, customer service workflows) • Anticipate founder needs and problem-solve creatively in a startup environment

What you will do:

Who you are:
Engineering degree.
7 years of related experience.
Experience of facility or tank engineering and construction is preferred.
Solid understanding of project management methods and techniques. Project Management certification (PMI) is an asset.
Well-developed problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills.
A collaborative, teamwork style.
Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

Introduction
Aqua-Aerobic Systems is offering internships in several disciplines during the upcoming summer season. Each intern shall undertake activities necessary to the success of the business, as suited to the department they are selected for.

Tasks and Deliverables
Within the selected department, the intern shall meet with their manager and an in-department mentor on a routine basis to discuss the progress and particulars of the assigned tasks. Throughout the term of the internship, the intern's responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the department to which they are assigned, however each intern will be solely responsible for their assigned project(s). While input and advice will be available when requested, each intern will be responsible for making critical decisions and managing the work.
Each intern will be expected to summarize their contributions and growth in written and/or verbal format(s) at the conclusion of the program.
As they close out their summer, top performers may also be offered a part-time, remote position during the following academic year, continuing with similar responsibilities.

Department Objective: To evaluate design requests and assist in the pre-sale design and costing of water and wastewater treatment equipment, and to provide technical assistance to both Internal and External Customers including Consulting Engineers, end users, Plant Operators, Sales Representatives, Cost Estimating, and Customer Service with the end goal of securing systems orders for the company.
Interns within the Applications Engineering department may be tasked with the following:
Evaluate design requests and assist in the preparation of preliminary designs and costing of wastewater treatment equipment for biological and filtration treatment systems.
Determine electrical and mechanical equipment costs for preliminary process designs.
Performs operations, testing and reporting within pilot studies to meet objectives in coordination with other departments, at customer sites.
Provide technical assistance to Internal and External clients including Consulting Engineers, End Users, Plant Operators, Sales Representatives, Sales Cost Estimating, and Customer Service.
Prior coursework in wastewater systems is strongly encouraged for this position.
Research & Development
Department Objective: To conduct applied research on existing products and new technologies in the fields of wastewater treatment, reclamation and water treatment. To manage the execution of pilot studies to meet objectives in coordination with other departments, and facilitate testing at customer sites, producing documentation that may be used for internal and external purposes.
Interns within the Research & Development department may be tasked with the following:
Manage data collection and interpretation to prepare effective, meaningful statistical evaluations, graphs, and tabulations within written and oral reports for accessibility by other internal departments, and external customers.
Use and maintain process simulation and modeling tools to support internal departments.
Due to the location of testing services, candidates for this position must have access to a vehicle throughout their term of employment (mileage reimbursement available).
Additional Potential Opportunities during Internship
Each intern may also have the opportunity for additional experience within Aqua-Aerobic Systems as time permits. These may include working within one of the above departments outside of the intern's focus, as described above. Opportunities for travel to wastewater treatment plants, or consulting engineer offices may also arise.
Program Timing and Duration
While the start and end dates are somewhat flexible, each intern should plan to begin their program within two weeks of the end of their term (finals included), and should plan on finishing their program within two weeks of the first day of instruction for their fall term. The vast majority of our Chemical Engineering interns/co-ops work in this area. The experience will expand your understanding of the refining environment and technical aspects of the refinery. Past projects/duties include: develop and lead test runs to optimize refinery operations; perform process engineering calculations concerning the various process technology (or equipment) in the refinery; monitor and make recommendations in regards to catalyst and adsorbents; complete projects and provide recommendations for improvements to the refinery process and equipment.
Operations Research Engineers may help develop planning, blending, scheduling, and process models for refinery engineers. The models are used to optimize crude oil purchasing, refinery production, blending and finished product scheduling, and optimization of refinery production. Typical college co-op assignments include: validation of production data and mass balancing, process modeling, and development of graphical interfaces of refinery process units.
Environmental Engineers work on projects that involve the compliance of the entire refinery, and you will be exposed to the majority of process units in the refinery. You will be applying the engineering principles and calculations to various environmental projects and will also give you a broad knowledge of the various environmental laws that are applicable to refineries and what it takes to maintain compliance with those laws. Past projects/duties include: perform process calculations for the Risk Management Plan, including taking physical surveys of refinery process units; work on various process engineering projects within a Wastewater Treatment Plant; participate in inspections and/or testing that is conducted by federal, state, or local officials.
Products Control / Economics Engineers may work on a wide array of projects including operations, blending, and refinery economics. You will gain an understanding of how a tank farm is operated and how gasoline and other products are prepared and shipped to customers. In addition, you will gain some exposure to the overall economics of the refinery and how operating decisions are made based upon these economics. Past projects/duties include: analyze refinery process flow data and compare to recommended optimum levels, this will help in identifying equipment failures which cause variances in capacity from the optimum levels; update information on gasoline blends and tank samples in preparation for an annual blender waiver audit; develop applications to better present process data for refinery operating decisions.

Environmental Engineers work on projects that involve the compliance of the entire refinery, and you will be exposed to the majority of process units in the refinery. You will be applying the engineering principles and calculations to various environmental projects and will also give you a broad knowledge of the various environmental laws that are applicable to refineries and what it takes to maintain compliance with those laws. Past projects/duties include: perform process calculations for the Risk Management Plan, including taking physical surveys of refinery process units; work on various process engineering projects within a Wastewater Treatment Plant; participate in inspections and/or testing that is conducted by federal, state, or local officials.
Products Control / Economics Engineers may work on a wide array of projects including operations, blending, and refinery economics. You will gain an understanding of how a tank farm is operated and how gasoline and other products are prepared and shipped to customers. In addition, you will gain some exposure to the overall economics of the refinery and how operating decisions are made based upon these economics. Past projects/duties include: analyze refinery process flow data and compare to recommended optimum levels, this will help in identifying equipment failures which cause variances in capacity from the optimum levels; update information on gasoline blends and tank samples in preparation for an annual blender waiver audit; develop applications to better present process data for refinery operating decisions.
Qualifications:
+ Candidates must be majoring in Chemical Engineering
+ Strong academic performance
+ Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
+ Positions are available spring, summer, and fall semesters
+ Availability for multiple work terms is preferred
+ A valid driver's license is required
+ Concurrent enrollment in a degree seeking program
