Position Overview
The Sr. Technical Services Application Scientist provides exceptional technical support to Exact Sciences customers, with responsibilities spanning post-market assay support, test implementation, and technical transfer within the laboratory environment. The scientist collaborates cross-functionally to ensure new assays are successfully deployed in clinical lab settings and facilitates the seamless transition of products from development into lab operations.
This is an onsite position at our Madison location.
Essential Duties
Include but are not limited to the following:
Receive and document incoming customer communications.
Work cooperatively with the Technical Services team and, when appropriate, internal functional departments to troubleshoot and resolve customer questions or requests in the areas of reagent, consumables, and assay related issues.
Lead troubleshooting of customer issues through root cause investigation, experiment design, study execution, data analysis, and reporting.
Conduct bench level experiments within several product areas.
Prepare technical experiment report with all technical specification and information and present to supervisor or project team.
Coordinate with the Development and Marketing teams for proper implementation of new products by providing technical input and participate in decisions affecting project planning and experimental design.
Clearly and accurately summarize and document troubleshooting activities or technical summary.
Prepare detailed technical protocols.
Communicate customer feedback regarding their product requirements to the developmental team for better designing and implementing of new and existing products.
Assist with metrics tracking to monitor performance of the technical services team and quality of the product delivered to the laboratory customer.
Draft and distribute content of customer communications; including customer notifications and technical or service bulletins.
Contribute ideas to improve team process.
Clearly communicates with supervisor and team members.
Ability to provide technical and hands-on support to laboratory customers by phone, email and/or onsite.
Ability to identify, implement, and report on improvements in processes and products.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in a life sciences field; Master's degree in a life sciences field and 2 years of life sciences industry experience in lieu of Ph.D.; or Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or related field and 4 years of life sciences industry experience in lieu of Ph.D..
3+ years of experience in the life sciences industry or a related field.
3+ years of experience analyzing data with tools such as Microsoft Office Excel or JMP.
2+ years of experience working in a molecular diagnostics/clinical laboratory.
Professional working knowledge or coursework with molecular biology techniques and Real-Time-PCR Assays.
Strong understanding of statistical and mathematical methods in biology/genetics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Director, Commercial Learning and Development
Reporting to the Executive Director, US Commercial Learning and Development, the individual in this role oversees the development of all training curriculum, provides expertise in the implementation and sustainment of the program, and provides mentorship and development to a team of therapeutic area training managers.

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of learning and development programs for the U.S

Position Overview
The Maintenance Recycling Processing Specialist (MRPS) will primarily process recyclable materials through the BioSAFE or STI machine at 320 Holtzman Rd, along with driving a 26' straight truck to pick up full bins and deliver empty bins to 650 Forward Dr and 145 E. Badger Ln. The MRPS will assist Maintenance Technicians (MT) and Senior Maintenance Technicians (SMT) in general repairs and preventive maintenance of the BioSAFE machine. The MRPS will also be trained to provide support to help maintain building support systems (e.g., equipment including facility-related mechanical and electrical equipment located within office and laboratory locations). 2nd shift role, Tuesday-Saturday.
Essential Duties
Include but are not limited to the following:
Communicate facility and safety-related issues from daily operations to the Facilities Management to coordinate with internal customers, property owners, and outside vendors.
Assist the team in managing spare parts for equipment and supplies to minimize equipment downtime.
Provide assistance in supporting the facility and utility systems, including, but not limited to, electrical distribution, plumbing, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
Enter, prioritize, and complete work orders in a computer database system.
Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) tasks with proper documentation and closure.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly building inspections to assess the current operational condition, document findings, and take appropriate follow-up action following applicable procedures.
React to loss of electrical power and other utility outages and assist in restoration efforts following weather-related events.
Monitor and respond to equipment and facility system alarms with the ability to follow proper written procedures.
Ensure material support for lab teams by delivering materials to internal cross-campus locations.
Assist with the safe and timely transportation of materials, including, but not limited to, specimens and supplies, to appropriate locations.

The salary range for this position is: $221,000.00 - $286,000.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. Position Overview
The Field Clinical Specialist is a visible position that will provide case support to physicians within certain territories. Case support will be done on peripheral and coronary interventional procedures in the pre-market and post-market phases of product development with the Shockwave Medical Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) technology. The Field Clinical Specialist will also play a critical role in clinical studies including device training, case support and ensuring timely data collection for clinical programs. Case support may be required to support other territories at certain times.
Essential Job Functions
* Physician and hospital staff training, and procedural case coverage to ensure the safe and effective use of medical devices.
* Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers with a sense of urgency and drive.
* Present clinical study training materials based on investigational plans to support the safe and effective use of medical devices, inclining study protocol, instructions for use, core lab manuals and case report forms.
* Manage key study investigators; foster and maintain strong relationships through direct interactions with medical advisors and clinical leaders.
* Partner with other clinical research colleagues to meet business needs in the field including site re-training, data collection for timely database locks and resolution of critical issues.
* Administrative activities including training to procedures, manage territory travel and budgets.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Minimum Bachelor's Degree in business, science, nursing or related fields, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 2 years' experience directly supporting interventional or surgical procedures within a hospital setting OR, 1 year of industry, hospital-based life sciences, sales support experience. Cardiovascular industry experience preferred but not required.
* Working knowledge of clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance guidelines for clinical trials.
* A history of effective collaboration with regulatory agencies through clinical studies and market releases.
* Product knowledge including product vigilance and medical device reporting.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Computer skills (MS Office products, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
* Finance and budgeting knowledge.
* Good prioritization and organizational skills.
* Excellent critical thinking skills.
* Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
* High energy and results-oriented individual who is mature and successful in a business environment and is skilled in motivating and inspiring people.
