Executive Director - Network IT . The Executive Director Information Technology Services - Network will be responsible for overseeing the strategy for the enterprise network including all connectivity. This position will manage LAN, WAN and interconnectivity, routing, switching from the physical layer to the edge. This position will collaborate with IT leads at property and corporate to develop and execute strategic objectives help oversee the operation of all integrated resorts and their supporting locations and entities. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and client's policies, practices and procedures.

Executive Director - Network IT
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology networks for domestic integrated resorts and other corporate locations. Maintain accountability for IT Labor scheduling and budgeting. Collaborate with the properties/Corporate IT to ensure compliance, and interpret and execute corporate policies for department/projects and develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies working in conjunction with corporate information technology Direct daily operations of Information Technology Network related activities including computer room, hardware management, communication infrastructure management, technology base, and business systems support and on-going improvement. Actively partner with the Corporate Vice President of Information Technology to set technology strategy, while working with Las Vegas resorts to deliver technology services and solutions. Manage Human Resources responsibilities for direct subordinates and team to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment; compliance with company and department policies, and legal requirements. Work closely with senior and executive level management and department managers to evaluate business processes and needs and recommend technology solutions/optimizations and provide related technological support. Ensure that contracts and maintenance programs exist and are appropriate for all network-based hardware, communication, and software systems. Perform other job-related duties as requested.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 4+ years of in-depth Information Technology experience, with experience in the 24X7 operations management of critical systems and infrastructure and leadership experience.



PREFERRED:


Master's degree in IT or a related field Previous work experience in a resort/casino setting Thirteen (13) years of in-depth Information Technology experience, with experience in the 24X7 operations management of critical systems and infrastructure Ten (10) years of supervisory/leadership experience in the Information Technology or related field

What You'll Do
Responsible for establishing, standardizing and leading the practice of managing our IT portfolio and associated delivery practices for the IT organization.

The ideal candidate will develop and mature a holistic view of the IT portfolio for the IT organization. They will also evolve our practices to be appropriately aligned to the portfolio, while refining standards and KPI's that promote accountability and foster transparency for our IT leaders and business teams. This role will be responsible for establishing and ensuring use of portfolio and project management methodologies, analytics, and decision analysis that help the organization understand demand and how to respond to that demand through delivery of programs and projects.

This role will also have oversight of the Agile Practices to the methodology and best practices by which product teams take in, prioritize, plan, and execute work. This process will ensure that all strategic initiatives are flawlessly executed and yield improved business efficiency and high-impact results. This role will lead the team that will help to transition our business from its existing work practices to a truly integrated agile methodology. This will play a key role in the long-term strategy across the entire organization, helping our teams to deliver better products in a faster, more efficient way while ensure that key control requirements are met.

This is a highly visible, dynamic leadership position. In addition to regularly interfacing with IT executives, this leader will work closely with business leadership to advance technology components of key business initiatives. The successful candidate must have a flexible approach to defining long-range strategies and implementation plans that balance industry best practices around portfolio management with the unique needs of our business. This leader must have expert influencing skills and a laser-focus on assessing the real needs (people, process, and technology) required to move the business forward

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
Develop, establish, and maintain a standard approach for managing a demand project portfolio across the IT organization Set a long-term vision for the IT portfolio practice and create a near-term roadmap that standardizes demand management and resource management approaches and establishes consistent data reporting Work with the IT leadership team, resource managers and PMO to provide a comprehensive overview of the IT project portfolio Facilitate capacity planning to ensure the right resources are available to meet future project needs, balance capacity to ensure that key strategic projects are prioritized and consult the governing teams when adequate resources are not available Collaborate with executive business leaders to establish governance processes to monitor and report on portfolio health and overall IT capacity Build and maintain a trusted adviser relationship with leadership ensuring collaboration and transparency; wherever possible, identify process improvement opportunities Provide recommendations to senior leadership for most efficient change management processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals Develop and implement continuous improvement actions to increase organizational agile maturity, as measured through an established and quantified Agile Maturity Model.Assist all members of the team in getting up to speed and working through the cultural and technical transition to an agile methodology.Further develop and standardize agile metrics to optimize value delivery and promote lean thinking and continuous improvement.Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments and progress and integrates Agile & Lean principles into team practices and work products Designing and producing metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness Actively participate in the creation and maintenance of the team's roadmap
