Executive Electronics of Southwest Florida, an award-winning leader in home automation and security, is seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Installation Lead to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Installer, you'll be responsible for overseeing and performing the installation of a variety of low-voltage systems.
Lead Projects: Manage on-site installations from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and skilled team environment.
Install & Configure: Perform installation, termination, and calibration of systems including, but not limited to:
Whole-home audio and video distribution
Home theater systems
Smart home automation
Motorized shades and lighting control
Security systems and surveillance cameras
Structured wiring and networking
Maintain Quality: Conduct quality control checks and system testing to ensure all installations function flawlessly and meet company standards.
Communicate Effectively: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, builders, and other trades, providing professional and clear updates.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a low-voltage technician, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Expertise in installing and servicing home automation systems.
Strong knowledge of Lutron lighting and motorized shading systems is highly preferred.
Proficiency with Alarm.com security platforms and camera systems.
Excellent technical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:
Assist with installs (running wire, mounting gear, basic configuration).
Handle basic service tickets under supervision.
Inventory handling, van prep, materials pickup.
Learn to commission smaller systems (cameras, TVs, alarm panels).
Represent the brand on jobs with professionalism and care.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working with equipment.
