Executive Transportation history

In 1974 Executive Charge, Inc. was created as the billing company.

After almost two decades of successful business and buying out competing cab companies, Carl and Gary Ward assumed ownership of the company in 1977, believing they could continue to grow the family business and make their parents proud.

After purchasing two sedans in 1988, they were off-to-the-races and Executive Transportation was formed.

In 1993 Rick was able to launch and establish Executive Charter, Inc as the newest addition to the Executive business with only two motor coaches and today has grown to a fleet over 20 motor coaches.

In 2001, Airport Executive Shuttle was founded; its primary function to provide a shared shuttle service for travelers, airline staff, and business travelers.

After driving part time for a limousine company and part time for a taxi service in the Charlottesville area, he decided to combine the best of the two services and opened his own company in January of 2010, thus, Norm's Taxi Service was born.

So in 2015, he decided to move forward and rebuild GET Global Executive Transportation.

In 2018, to meet more transportation needs Executive launched their fourth company division Express Mobile Transportation to serve the needs of senior adults and the mobility challenged.

In 2020, Norm's Executive Transportation hopes to continue it's growth by adding more drivers and more new customers.
