John Hartner joined The ExOne Company as Chief Operating Officer in November 2018, and became Chief Executive Officer on May 15, 2019. He was elected to the Board of Directors on May 13, 2020. Mr. Hartner has led technology companies around the world for 30 years in the electronics, cleantech, automation and digital printing industries. For almost half of this time, he lived and worked in Asia and Europe. He founded Digital Industrialist LLC, a company that advises and invests in digital manufacturing businesses. In the 3D industry, he served as Chief Operating Officer of EnvisionTEC, a healthcare 3D printing leader. Previously he had a 14-year career leading business units of Dover Corporation, most recently as President and CEO of Dover Printing & Identification Segment. Prior to that, he served in various leadership roles with FMC Technologies and Rockwell International. He received an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.

Doug Zemba is the Chief Accounting Officer and Assistant Treasurer at The ExOne Company where he is responsible for all global accounting and financial reporting matters. He formerly served as a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the assurance practice. Mr. Zemba is a certified public accountant (Pennsylvania) and has extensive experience in working with both public and private companies related to accounting and financial accounting matters and internal control over financial reporting. Mr. Zemba received a B.S. degree in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University.w

Ms. Dillon has served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of The ExOne Company (NASDAQ: XONE), a global provider of three-dimensional printing machines, since March 2013, and has served as Executive Vice President since December 2014. Previously, she was a legal consultant on ExOne’s initial public offering. Prior to that experience, Ms. Dillon was a partner with Reed Smith LLP, a law firm, from 2002 until 2011. She had previously been at the law firm Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC from 1988 until 2002, where she became a partner in 1997. Ms. Dillon is the former Chair, and currently serves as the Audit Committee Chair of, the Allegheny District chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This experience, as well as her substantial legal and leadership experience, and judgment, led the Board to nominate her as a Director.
