We are an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary firm across North America with a history of successfully delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects. We are currently looking to grow and enhance our transit, rail control systems, structural, roadway, and tunneling practices. This is an opportunity for exposure from our talented and experienced staff based in our New York office. What a day at EXP has in store for you * Prepare construction documents in coordination with multi-discipline project team of architects and engineers. * Coordinate project requirements and development of construction documents with subconsultants. * Meet with product vendors to review specific products to be incorporated into the projects. * Perform code reviews and meet independently with local code officials to review and determine specific local code requirements and project compliance. * Perform bid phase and construction phase tasks including site visits, review of shop drawings, responding to requests for information, and issuing clarifications. * Lead the development of design alternatives using a variety of media, including computer visualization, and physical models. Work in coordination with and oversight of the Principal Architect. * Lead the development of presentation documents and make design presentations to Clients. What your experience looks like * Degree in architecture required from an Accredited University. Bachelor's Degree required. * Must have 5+ years' experience in a similar role. * Must have demonstrated ability to use computer software for design. * Must have detailed knowledge of all phases of architectural and engineering practice. * Must be proficient in the production of contract documents including Technical Specifications. * Must be proficient in production with Revit and AutoCAD * Experience with Sketchup, Photoshop, 3D Studio, Rhino, V-Ray, and other imaging and rendering software. The salary range for this role is $90,000-150,0000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
