This role focuses on delivering safe, patient-centered care in compliance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, contributing to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations. Tier 2 LPNs utilize fundamental clinical skills, but are frequently required to apply moderate to advanced complexity clinical skills and knowledge in their daily practice, often in high-complexity or specialized settings, requiring additional training skill validation. Responsibilities include direct patient care, administrative functions, and active collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to maintain the highest standards of quality and service. The LPN exemplifies organizational values by providing compassionate, respectful, and effective care while adhering to the scope of practice outlined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Licensed Practical Nurses in this tier serve in specialties such as Orthopedics, Neurology, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Pulmonary, ENT, General Surgery, Dermatology, Sports Medicine, OBGYN, Urology, Wound Care, and Urgent Care, and may be scheduled to work outside of normal business hours.
Required Educational Degree: Graduated of an Accredited Program in Practical Nursing
Major/Area of Concentration: Medical Assisting. Nursing, LPN, RN
Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses:
LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio.
Successful completion of Adena skills assessment and written test annually.
BLS - Basic Life Support
Preferred Certifications, Credentials and Licenses:
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years experience in a similar capacity. 1-2 years of medical office.
