We are looking for a Senior Manager, TEaL Finance (Traveler Engagement & Loyalty) to join Expedia Group's Finance Function. This role sits within the Traveler Marketing Finance team and plays a key strategic role in Expedia Group's Traveler Division supporting the loyalty program. In this role you will: As a Senior Manager, TEaL Finance, you will be a strategic thought partner to the VP of Loyalty. You understand the economics and the accounting of the program inside out and are the representative of the TEaL team to the brands, corporate functions and senior finance leadership. Bring your experience and best practices from previously having worked on a complex loyalty program. Go-to person in TEaL on the loyalty value proposition and comprehensive understanding of the program nuances and economics. Help the team achieve KPIs and deep dive on the drivers of success. Manage the forecasting and budgeting process for the Loyalty program across the globe. Have a thorough understanding of relevant GAAP principles and their implication on program economics. Partner with stakeholders on financial modelling for initiatives, program updates and new launches Work closely with accounting on month end close accruals to ensure accurate P&L and Balance Sheet reporting Partner with analytics to understand the long-term value proposition of loyalty program and work with business to provide program update recommendations to maximize long term value proposition. Qualifications and Experience: 7+ years of finance experience with at least 4 years in customer engagement/loyalty space Advanced degree such as MBA or MS in Finance, Stats or other analytical fields. Solid experience understanding math and statistics Grasp of relevant GAAP and understanding the relationship between financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow) Ability to utilize Financial Systems such as Hyperion Strong business insight and experience in marketing strategy or analytics Experience working with complex SQL Experienced people leader able to manage geographically diverse teams. The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
