Responsible for controlling all material movement and inventory. Under a minimum of supervision, basic functions are done on an independent basis. However, the associate is required to consult with the supervisor when questions or problems arise.
Job Details:
1. Associate is responsible to follow requirement of applicable national and international regulations.
2. Inventory control of all materials (retrieving and/or sending of material using computer system) to include accurate documentation. Manage materials across departments.
3. Open and close manufacturing orders, using computer system.
4. Ensure proper processing, packaging, labeling, palletizing, stamping, etc., of product in accordance with standards.
5. Maintenance and operation of processing, packaging and material handling equipment, which may include hand packing.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
7. Participate in team meetings with management to provide input on issues related but not limited to quality, productivity, efficiency, yield, personal performance, attendance, teamwork, etc.
8. Associate is responsible to follow requirements of TMC Quality System; including but not limited to: process controls, inspection procedures, document/data control, and change control practices.
9. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Strong mathematical and record-keeping skills. Ability to communicate clearly both verbal and written.Typically requires exacting attention to details (lot numbers, etc.), continuous standing, walking with frequent bending. Associate must be able to do individual lifts of 50 lbs; Shared lifts up to 100lbs.
