you learn a lot and can move into different departments to broaden your skills and knowledge
antiquated systems, senior management not transparent, processes very conservative to a point where senior management almost refuses to go with current trends of the market.
Great company mission, objectives, and communication from top to bottom.
Inconsistent leadership. Sometimes ineffective people are placed in team leading roles.
Competitive health / dental insurance. 401k is offered and lots of employee recognition events.
Work-life balance is excellent. C-Suite and upper management are very approachable and eager to help.
The pay is very low for the industry. All software is built inhouse and is old and slow. There is quite a bit of nepotism and management often promotes those who are not qualified because of who they are related to and who their friends are.
Their no-layoff policy is excellent. They offer wonderful benefits.

My current position is in my field, is challenging, and rewarding.
I'm not a huge fan of the culture and the pay scales, both aren't competitive to the market.
Best benefit is the health insurance, it was once free, but is still a bargain.
