Position Overview - Mid-Senior Healthcare Client Partner Role
Avant-garde Health seeks a leader in healthcare performance improvement to join our dynamic Customer Success team. Hybrid location (2 days/week in the Boston office and 3 days/week from home).
Travel to client sites for in-person meetings with executives, physicians, etc. (~15% travel).
Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using Excel pivot tables.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Skills & Experience:
Education: Graduate degree required: MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in healthcare delivery/operations, management consulting, or related fields.

* Oversee daily operation procedures for strength and conditioning training facilities, including the master scheduling of Cabot and Matthews weight room, establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors who supply and service exercise equipment. In collaboration with Sports Performance and Medicine staff, design and implement a coordinated strength and conditioning services plan for intercollegiate and/or club athletic events hosted by Northeastern University. Coordinate scheduling and communication for club strength and conditioning services. Oversee coaches implementing programming for club strength & conditioning services.
* Communicate as a senior staff member with coaches, administrators, athletic training, and medicine staff, regarding injured athletes and athletes with acute & chronic performance limiters. This includes meeting weekly with our Senior Staff Care Team for "Athletes to Watch" to discuss training goals as well as individual interventions and action steps for these athletes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Deep understanding of Oracle High Availability technologies (Data Guard, Standbys, RAC).
Mentoring Mid/Jr DBA.
How Oracle and the OS integrate.
Third party backup tape solutions integration with Oracle software.
Deep understanding of Oracle Backup and Recovery.
ASM (Automated Storage Management) database administration.
Deep knowledge of various operating systems on which customers run Oracle
Assist with interviewing candidates for team growth.
Customer Management and account administration
Technical Support for Oracle, including management of databases, listeners and other database components.
Perform ongoing database administration, maintenance, performance, installation, upgrades, backup and recovery of Oracle databases.
Provide on-call support as part of a rotational schedule.
Ensure continued high customer satisfaction through ongoing account management.
Work with customers to measure and manage service levels.
Oversee the completion of projects including planning; assigning, monitoring, reviewing progress, and evaluating results.
Ensure effective flow of communication between the DBA team, customers, and management.
Reviews and help correct SQL Code for performance improvements.
Provide assistance in understanding the technologies and related topics
Answers user questions regarding environment and project planning
Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems and staff cost for making changes to database.
Modifies SQL to increase processing performance, referred to as performance tuning.

Role Description:
The Director of Research and Development will be responsible for developing and launching new devices to expand the Podimetrics patient monitoring portfolio and serve a broader range of patients with Diabetes and related complications. The ideal candidate has broad experience managing teams to research, design, and transfer patient monitoring devices to production, is knowledgeable about FDA-regulated design and development processes, is comfortable in a fast-paced and rapidly growing business, and is passionate about patient care.
This is an on-site position based in the Somerville, MA office. Podimetrics has implemented a COVID-related policy for employee safety and requires all staff based at the office to be fully vaccinated.

Responsibilities:
Oversee development of new remote patient monitoring devices to broaden the range of patients served by Podimetrics.
Build new device design and development team and develop a culture of accountability and excellence within the team.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, and Healthcare Economics teams to understand customer needs.
Identify opportunities to test, learn, and validate assumptions throughout development processes, leveraging interviews and small-scale experiments to drive development decisions.
Execute and document planning, risk analysis, design requirements, detailed mechanical, electrical, and software design to achieve requirements, human factors, V&V, and transfer to manufacturing.
Follow FDA-compliant design controls and product development processes.

Qualifications:

Position
Manifold Bio is seeking an exceptional Bioinformatics Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with computational and experimental scientists to build core infrastructure and extract insights from our Next Generation Sequencing readouts as part of our platform's Compute team. Within the Compute team, you will engineer advanced DNA barcode sequence counting algorithms and associated infrastructure to support a wide variety of assay read-outs and modalities, including phage display, yeast display, and DNA barcode counting (“MPRAs”). Future projects may include RNA-seq, sc RNA-seq, Whole Genome Sequence (WGS), and more, so familiarity with these is a plus. This position will also be responsible for refining and deploying the data pipelines as self-serve workflows for the wet lab scientists, so familiarity with workflow orchestrators/engines is additionally a plus. Library-based research is central to our research at Manifold, and this role will have a deep impact across our entire workflow.
