Job Description We are seeking a visionary VP - Head of Data and Advertising Solutions to lead Experian's strategy and execution across data, technology, and advertising ecosystems. Drive go-to-market strategies, ensuring seamless product launches and platform adoption. Data Strategy & Activation Develop and oversee implementation of data-driven activation plans that maximize performance and enablement across DSPs, SSPs, and social platforms. Establish constantly evolving standards for data curation, taxonomy governance, and identity resolution to enhance accuracy, transparency, and interoperability. Oversee execution of best practices for the campaign curation lifecycle including presales, activation / optimization, and post-campaign reviews including partner/segment selection, campaign solution design, pre/post campaign content development for client deliverables and budget recommendations for renewals. Collaborate with product and technology teams to evolve Experian's data pipelines, ensuring scalability, automation and privacy compliance. Operational Excellence Drive operational efficiency by designing processes and tooling that support consistency, transparency, and scalability across global data and activation workflows. Champion continuous improvement through automation, workflow optimization, and stronger cross-functional collaboration. Integrate AI-driven systems using internal and external tools to automate repetitive tasks in execution, accelerate analysis and generally improve efficiency. Implement frameworks to measure performance, quality, and partner engagement, ensuring all systems and operations adhere to Experian's data governance standards. Team Leadership Lead and inspire global teams across Data Strategy, Trading & Curation, Account Intelligence, and Business Intelligence. Act as a strategic advisor and curation subject-matter-expert to clients and key partners, ensuring alignment between their objectives and our data and curation solutions. Collaborate with platform partners to co-develop new capabilities, improve interoperability, and ensure mutual value creation. Proactively resolve operational challenges and provide consultative support during onboarding and campaign execution. Establish best practices for client communication, reporting, and performance transparency. The team is responsible for the configuration and management of the operational infrastructure of the OPIS cloud environments including the OPIS database systems for OPIS applications. This role is a part of the OPIS Cloud Operations team, working with OPIS Product team's software engineers and database developers. As a Senior Database Administrator, You Will: + Oversee and manage OPIS database systems (MS SQL and IBM DB2) and their infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. + Manage database and database objects design, configuration, and testing activities to ensure the performance of the databases in support of OPIS applications from development to production. + Monitor system health, database availability and performance, diagnose and resolve technical issues, resolve database performance and capacity issues, replication and other distributed data issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent disruptions. + Plan and execute database system housekeeping, such as tuning, indexing, etc. and upgrades, data migration, and security patches. + Design database backup, archiving, and storage strategy. As well as develop and implement OPIS database systems disaster recovery plans and procedures. + Collaborate with OPIS product teams to leverage our database systems in order to design optimal solutions, and support the development and deployment of new systems and products. + Provide advanced database technical support and offer timely and effective solutions to complex challenges. + Create and maintain database standards and policies and comprehensive documentation for database system configurations, processes, and procedures using Atlassian Confluence and Azure DevOps.
