Matthews International is a world wide leader in casket manufacturing, providing the highest quality wood, metal and cremation caskets and other products to our funeral home customers. This position will be responsible for the delivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans.
Work Schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (Must be available to work every Saturday).
Shift Hours: First shift position. Our driver are home early afternoons.
Starting Pay: $21 per hour.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drives truck to deliver products.
• Loads trucks for delivery.
• Prepares products for delivery.
• Completes daily log book to record delivery activity.
• Unloads trucks upon arrival at drop-off location and distribution center.
• Cleans warehouse based upon location and company compliance standards.
• Puts products away as necessary.
• Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Previous delivery driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Must have current driver's license (CDL is NOT required)
Ability to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Test and MVR Check.
Maintain a safe driving record, demonstrating responsible and cautious driving behavior.
PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Sales Associate / Customer Service Duties:
As a Sales associate you will need to be able to multitask by doing a bit of everything in the store. Your main duties will include assisting retail and commercial customers in the purchase of batteries and light bulbs, replacing batteries in watches, cell phones and cars, and maintain proper inventory by stocking and facing shelves as well as maintaining the store appearance by cleaning when necessary.
Tech Duties:
For technical duties, you will be trained to program key fobs, install car batteries, fix cell phones, tablets, and other devices. You will also help maintain proper inventory and receive, pack, and ship devices.
Qualifications:
Customer service experience preferred. Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments; effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills; strong customer service focus; ability to inform and talk to customers.
Good technical writing skills preferred
Working conditions are typical for a retail environment
